Default High DHEA?

Hey all,

I changed doctors and the last few months have been great. Today I went in for a follow up and she is giving me a referall to an endocrinologist, she said my DHEA levels are elevated and that she thinks I need to have my pituitary checked out.

Just curious if anyone here had that happen and did you see an endo or anyone and what happened? Did they put you on a different medication? Did it help?

My current doctor just wrote out another prescription for spironolactone- I'm skeptical but willing to try again.

I'm just curious what is done in this case- do they give you more medication? Thanks.
