Default Zone diet is good for IR

I was surfing the net the other day and came across the zone diet by dr. sears...in order to see the formus(on website) [ ] you have to

i think im going to pick up the book(zone diet book a week in the zone)...i looked on amazon.com and ther were lots of reviews on the book

im a type 2 diabetic with pcos, hypothyroidism and metabolic syndrome.

...Im a mess and have no idea where to start with my diet or exercise....
I just do basic walking---its not enough for me I know...but i am very overweight im 5'11 and 280 pounds...ugggg

Have you ladies heard of the zone diet? its shows you how to pair your meals together with protein/carb combinations for keep insulin levels balanced....

Yep. There's also South Beach, Insulin Resistance Diet, and others along similar lines.

I did the zone diet back in the mid 90s.It really works but lke with any diet you just have to stay with it. Its really makes sense if you think about it. I do always try and balance my snacks based on what i leaned in the zone diet.

I've never done The Zone, but anything that pairs proteins and carbs is perfect for IR. Check out the book, see if its something you can live with because thats the key to success. For me its IR diet.

Way to go on the walking!
