Hi!
My name's Diana. I'm originally from Mexico, but have been living in the US since 2002. I'm married to a great Air Force guy and we'll be moving to Okinawa, Japan before the end of this month.
I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 21 (I'm two months shy of 30 now) and have been struggling with all the fun fun symptoms of it every since.
I think the most I've weighed has been 230 lbs. Back then, I was still in Mexico, I was put on a high dose of Metformin, the sadistic version of the Atkins diet and I also did martial arts on the side. I went down to around 170 lbs.
After I moved to the US many things happened and I started putting the weight back on. I'm around 200 lbs now (not exactly sure, as our scale is on it's way to Okinawa).
I'm determined to harness my weight. I don't want to become a Victoria's Secret model, all I want is to be healthy and hopefully look better.
Hubby and I have decided to ride bicycles when we're overseas instead of driving, so that'll be a good start. I'm doing my best to stick to the Met and eat healthier.
