Default what is the best way to build muscle with IR

In order for muscle to grow you need lots of protein and carbohydrates. So is
is this even possible since we have to low carb most of our lives??? and if so how? please help me

You don't need lots of carbs for muscle growth. Protein, yes, but not carbs. In fact, many bodybuilders use ketogenic diets to burn fat without losing muscle mass.

I try to get about .8-1 gram of protein / lb of body weight. It's not difficult, even on a restricted calorie diet, if you like cottage cheese, chicken, lean meats, etc. It's harder if you're vegetarian. A high-quality protein powder can help, too - just make sure the one you buy doesn't have many carbs (some are sweetened with stevia, others with sugar in one form or another).

Body For Life For Women is a good muscle building program that easily adapts to the Low GI way of eating. There's a regular program and one just for women. I think the women's version is much better.
