Hi Everyone,
Marny, I was reading your story and it was like you were telling my story. I had gastric bypass in Feb 06, I have lost 60 lbs, but realize that my eating is more deep rooted than I cared to admit. I am eating less of things but more often, and I see that it is out of control because I dont even realize that I am eating sometimes. I am a carb addict.
I am so glad I found this board because I need motivation and SUPPORT.

Denise, welcome! Congratulations on your 60 pounds! You're so right... it's one thing to get the weight off, but it's important to have the tools to KNOW how to keep it off. It's good that you're assessing your eating habits.

Welcome. Overeating is only a symptom of a much deeper illness. OA has excellent tools and support for getting to the root. Have you checked to see if there is an OA meeting near you?
