I love sushi too, I had it last night! I have changed what I eat - I used to focus on California rolls (often made with a creamy sauce), spider rolls (crunchy tempura) and other roll-types. I now focus on eating sashimi - usually yellowtail or salmon. I add a serving of seaweed salad, a little miso and sometimes just 1 roll (down from the 3-4 I used to eat). I'm a big fan of Ume Shiso rolls (pickled plum paste with a shiso leaf). Just one more way I've taken something I loved to eat and tweaked it slightly so it fits into my healthy lifetyle. I love sashimi and don't miss the spider rolls at all!

My husband and I both love sushi. I lived in Japan for 2 months, and there was a kaiten sushi place (with the moving plates of sushi) that I think I've been to more than I've been to most restaurants in the area where I live now.

My husband and I were devastated last week when we tried to go to our favorite sushi place in town -- only to learn it has permanently closed!!!!!
