Default I'm a believer !!!

Ok let me just say I have had a hard time losing weight my whole life. I am 27 years old and have been on diets since I was maybe 14 or 15. I have lost weight before through crazy crash diets but of course gained it all back! My current goal is to lose maybe another 60 pounds!

A little over 2 weeks ago I ordered eDiets.com FreshCuisine meal plan. Before this I've tried the others like Nutrisystem (which was OK but hard to stay on) and Medifast (which was horrible and impossible to stay on). I thought I would give the eDiets one a try because it looked appealing. As far as my weigh-in today I have lost 9 pounds! This is in less around 2 1/2 weeks! My main activity has only been 30 minutes of walking each night, as I get a little lighter I plan to try jogging instead. Some of my family thinks I am crazy for ordering pre-cooked meals to lose weight and they tell me I can just cook it myself. But its easier said than done and personally I'm glad I just dove into it! I will let you know how the plan works from me going forward!

Thanks for the replies everyone. Since that last post (1 1/2 months ago) I've lost 18 more pounds for a total of 27 pounds lost! This is the most weight I've lost in a loooooong time. I have been using eDiets Express meal delivery plan and it has been working great and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple meal delivery option that still tastes good. I am surprised by my results specially considering I was on vacation for 10 days and cheated a little.

That's really great for you....I was actually on Nutrisystems website yesterday toying with the idea of ordering food for myself....is it difficult? Do you like the food? Is it REALLY expensive (though truthfully I'll pay ANYTHING to lose weight at this point!)

9 lbs is a great success, congratulations!

brooke26 it is actually 27 pounds now and I'm on eDiets express not Nutrisystem. I was on Nutrisystem first for a few weeks but I wasn't able to stick with it because the food just wasn't good in my opinion. A coworker of mine used eDiets express with good results so I gave it a shot. The food is much much better and I'm still enjoying it. The cost was my main concern initially as well but I figured since it substitutes for groceries and eating out/take-out that the cost isn't too much. I'm exercising as well of course, either jogging or using the elliptical machine at my gym. I'm hoping to work up to the Versaclimber at some point.
