Default Hubby's comment..NSV!

Soooo...I think my scale is broken and stuck between the same 5 pounds, but eh...whatever! My husband made my week! He's commented a few times about me looking a little more trim, noticed my thighs and all, but when we laid down tonight (insomniac here! I tried!) I asked him to rub my back.

He said in a really surprised voice, wow you really are making progress! Usually when I rub your back you feel softer...I was thinking skin or something...he said no, I mean...like, doughy! LOL. Now he'd have never said that I felt doughy, while I did feel doughy, as he's a smart boy and has caught on over the years and knows that comments like that could possibly land his behind on the floor, but he figured it was safe now! LOL.

That did make me feel good though! It's the little things...lol.

LOL Kim. Good that he is smart enough to hold the "doughy" remarks until they become a compliment for their lack! Good job!

Yes Angie, he will appreciate that! LOL. He has made the comment that my butt looks better in my jeans! I'm so blessed to have such a supportive and encouraging hubby! He doesn't notice things like a new hair cut or shirt, but he notices the things that MATTER...stuff I'm actively working on!

HEHE....yes Misti, we've been married for 10yrs, he's pretty good at knowing what to say when, and if he has to wing it he watches my expressions very carefully! LOL.

Congrat's that is so nice. My husband said he likes to "rub his hand up and down my ribs" now. This was nice for me to hear, cause them ribs were buried for many year.

I know what you mean about those ribs being buried lilly...lol. That's sweet of your hubby to say! It's great when you hear of men appreciating a woman's efforts! So many men will sabotage because they're insecure!

Men can be wonderful can't they? My fiance and I have been together for almost ten years now and he is wonderful. I was talking to him about how my goal was to get back down to the weight I was at when we met. He said, "Well you haven't really gained that much." The thing is, I have gained about 50-60 lbs since we met. He went on to stress that I don't need to be skinny, just healthy so I'm around for a long time. No wonder I agreed to marry him!

That is very sweet Kristi! Keep that one! So many men would say 'well, ya know, I was wondering when you'd notice!' Some can be jerks...some can be great!
