Default Non Scale Victories

Many of us seek to drop weight and get in shape for more than the number on the scale. For many of us our goals involve improved health, stamina, etc. If you are meeting a goal such as this, post your successes here to encourage one another.

Default Off meds!

I am back on my vegan diet and excited about the results. I am now completely off my diabetes meds - despite eating mostly starch! And, no, I'm not going hungry. My fasting blood glucose is running 84 to 93. The body can heal ! ("Fearfully and wonderfully made") Thank You Lord, and thank Drs McDougal, Campbell and Esslestyn!

Congratulations, Sea, on improving your health and getting off your diabetes meds! For sure, the number on your blood glucose meter is more important than the number on your scale.

If your weight is staying constant but you are tightening up your flab and getting toned, basically turning fat into muscle....that is a victory

Blood sugars (A1C) improved, inches off waist, dropping a size, finding old clothes I had outgrown fit again. such good things.
