Unusual Victory

  • This is such a weird (and somewhat embarrassing) accomplishment for me, but I felt it to be important enough to share.

I am currently following WW, and lately, I've been at a plateau for the last month or so. My problem is twofold: I get home from school at night and completely give up tracking for the rest of the day and I have a binge-eating problem (which I don't track either).

Well, this week I decided to track EVERYTHING, even if I binged at all. As ashamed as I am, I am proud that I tracked and held myself accountable and really saw my true eating patterns. I know that I need to start planning my week better so I don't overeat when I shouldn't and save my points for special occasions.

I know this seems weird, and after all the eating I did, I still feel victorious and more aware of myself and how I eat.
  • That is such a big step! Not always plesant but it shows your determination to acknowledge where you are! I think that your willlingness to face what is going on will propel you to make changes so that you can deal with the tiredness and hunger at the end of your day. Congratulations!
  • Way to go!

Facing the stress eating and keeping track of it (instead of pretending those calories never happened) was the wake up call that helps keep me accountable.
