Congrats on your losses so far!

My mini goals are something I can obtain say once or twice a month. For instance, my first one was to stick to my plan for a full week. My next mini-goal is 10lbs. After that, I have a few things. I gained my weight really quickly, and so I have a lot of jeans that don't fit anymore. I figured I would lose it quickly as well, but that didn't happen. So my other mini-goals all related to jean sizes. Each time I can fit back in to an older pair, I'll be happy.

I have also set some other mini goals, but most of them are fitting back in to old clothing.

I think they can be anything you want, whether it be something you can obtain in a few days, or something that takes months. It's whatever motivates you!

Edit: I love small goals, so each time I pass one, I usually make a really small one. For me, the jeans are big. I already own the clothing, I just want to fit in to it. However, right now I'm very close to being in the 180's again. So, I've set that as my short term super tiny mini goal. Hehe. But as soon as I reach it, I feel that sense of accomplishment, no matter how small the goal!

I started with mini goals of 10 pounds each. Every time I achieved a mini goal, I rewarded myself with something from Sephora.

I weighed myself this morning and I'm at 185! Yesterday I was 187? So, I've met my 1st mini goal! I did really well yesterday sticking to only water to drink and healthy prtions. My hunger pains are getting farther and farther apart. I know it's just my body telling HEY LADY WE'VE NORMALLY EATEN BY NOW! lmfao So, I drink some water and did 15-20 more sit ups screaming back NO WAY I WANT MY BODY BACK! I'm quite proud of myself and really hope and pray that this works this time!

I think it's the best way to go. I like doing it in percentages!

^^^Ditto! I set up a bunch of small goals, mostly based on percentages. That way, I could take advantage of the fact it was easier to lose when I weighed so much and gets a bit more difficult as I drop down.

mini goals are great and they give you motivation.

i find that 205 and below has been a real roller coaster of plateau's and you need to have TINY TINY mini goals sometimes, they keep you going!
