You may want to google the C25K program. It teaches you to gradually increase your running time to run a 5k. A terrific program and you can go at your own pace.
    I'm very happy for you.

  • That is awesome! I have been thinking about running. Because of my family history I went to the heart doctor and had my self checked out and he said it all looks good. So I would really like to try this. I have never run before but you make me believe that I too can do this!! My weight loss has been so slow my thinking is this would help... and make me feel so much better.
    Thank you for your post
  • Congrats! That's so awesome. I am also building up to a 5km. Right now I'm walking for one minute and jogging for 2 mins for 20 mins. I started with walking more and jogging less. I'm also training for a 5 km for next summer. Keep it up!
