To celebrate the last 10 lbs loss I decided to get something new yesterday for a girls night out this evening. I went into a shop I have never been able to buy anything in before. Lots of beautiful clothes, and seemingly small sizes.
I began my journey as a size 24 (UK) which I think is a 26W US size. I haven't really been able to judge what size I am because I also live in Belgium where the sizes are soooo different dependent on which shop you are in.
Anyhoo, I found the most exquisite lace tunic, right up my street. Biggest size they had was a 16(uk). I trepidatiously took it into the changing room (having to get past the miniscule girl waiting on the changing room
) I was looking at myself in themirror - which I truly don't do much- and I thought the top would not go on over my head, let alone fit. Much to my surprise and delight, not only did it go on, but fit perfectly and looked stunning on
So delighted I was jumping around the store !
Such a vain, and totally silly NSV, but size 16 (UK) for me is a size I haven't seen for a very long time. Am just having a very proud moment and wanted to shout about it
