Talking First one down...

Started @ 176, first goal was to get below 160.
Second goal is 150.
From there I have to kick some butt and hit 135 or lower.

I'm currently at 159.2! Yay!
16.8 lbs from March 27-May 6, not too bad but I feel like I'm beginning to slack off. I was consistently losing 3 lbs/week and now it's just over 1! I know I haven't been walking as much, because I was losing one of my only assets (the rear) and got frustrated, so I began to do some serious belly work. It's working though, I only lost 1.3 lbs this last week, but I lost 3 lbs of body fat! So I actually gained 1.7 lbs of muscle. In that sense, I am very happy! I'm ok as long as the fat is going away!

Congrats! It does feel great knowing that fat has been sent packing. You're doing really great and it is totally normal for weight loss to slow down. Slowly, but surely, you'll get there!

It's great to hear that you are sticking with it and not giving up.
It's common to see less weight loss over time.

It's a common myth that you can target where you loss weight on your body,
in reality you are gaining muscle in that area which holds the fat better making it appear that you have lost weight in that area.

Keep up the good work and find new ways to motivate yourself so that you stick with it.

The closer you get to goal, the slower it gets. Stick with it, and it doesn't matter how long it takes. The important thing is that you stick with your plan.

Congrats on your loss so far!

Yeah I've found that the closer I get to my own goal the slower the weight loss is.

Congrats. The important thing is just, no matter what, to keep going. I keep telling myself that. Every time I go over my calories by a few hundred, I pat myself on the back and say, "It's okay, I will do better next time." and rejoice for it just being a few hundred instead of how I used to it, and becaues it is only one day, but tomorrow I can move forward again. So just keep moving, always keep moving, and no matter how slow you will always get there. You will only fail if you stop moving, even if you are just barely crawling. It's the ones who just think it's better to stop than crawl that fail.
Congratulations!

I agree with the other girls, as long as it keeps coming off thats all that matters! I'm sure at some point my weight loss per week will slow to and I probably feel the same way, but don't let it discourage you from keepin movin forward! congratson the weight loss this week!

I am definitely happy at this point, I am starting to really kick it into high gear with working out and have been every day so hopefully everything will be good when I weigh in tomorrow. The only problem now is I am on such a low calorie diet that when I work out a lot, I feel like I need more food. I know it's my body telling me that, because my workouts are more intense now, but I really can't afford to screw up and eat stuff I shouldn't, I've been really good up until the last week and I don't splurge but I didn't used to cheat everyday... =(
Crossing my fingers for tomorrows weigh-in!!!
