I know this isn't a significant weight loss, but it's a very important goal reached, as I've been saying for a long time (as I gained weight mostly) "If I could only just lose that first 5 pounds, then I'll be motivated". And well, I did it. I haven't seen this number for almost a year, and so, I'm very happy I"m going in the right direction this time.
I attribute my success to the fact that for about three weeks now, I've been hiking extra long hikes (over an hour) , and starting jogging intervals during the hikes, and fewer rest days , as well as not binging on anything. I haven't pulled in the reins yet on the calories , but I have been focusing on eating *more* superfoods,(way more fruit, yogurt, pb, nuts, ww stuff, beans, and fish) instead of empty carbs. I think I haven't been eating much cheese either, or white bread to speak of. I feel like I've been eating more, exercizing tons.... and well, finally , results !
