I lost 5 pounds !!!!!
I know this isn't a significant weight loss, but it's a very important goal reached, as I've been saying for a long time (as I gained weight mostly) "If I could only just lose that first 5 pounds, then I'll be motivated". And well, I did it. I haven't seen this number for almost a year, and so, I'm very happy I"m going in the right direction this time.
I attribute my success to the fact that for about three weeks now, I've been hiking extra long hikes (over an hour) , and starting jogging intervals during the hikes, and fewer rest days , as well as not binging on anything. I haven't pulled in the reins yet on the calories , but I have been focusing on eating *more* superfoods,(way more fruit, yogurt, pb, nuts, ww stuff, beans, and fish) instead of empty carbs. I think I haven't been eating much cheese either, or white bread to speak of. I feel like I've been eating more, exercizing tons.... and well, finally , results ! :carrot: |

I THINK FIVE POUNDS IS SOOOO SIGNIFICANT! Hurray for you....actually judging by your stats there five pounds is a significant percentage of your goal! Like 10% right?? So good for you. I've been wanting to hike too but it's so c-c-cold in the a.m. (I know, I'm a baby, but it's cold for L.A.!)

Hey 5 pounds is five pounds. I was feeling really down on myself at the beginning of Jan. for only losing 3 and fatmad told me to be proud. So I made a new goal and now I am down 10.8 pounds! You can do it Hermit Girl!

CONGRATS! 5 lbs is a big deal! that's a bag of sugar! go get a bag of sugar put it in a back pack and carry that around all day gone! just think that's gone from your body forever now!!! YAY you!:cp::cp::cp::bravo::bravo::carrot::carrot:
