Default New to this and just getting started

Hi, my name is Aggie and I am really new at this so bare with me. I have just started my journey for my weight loss. I started 11 weeks ago and have a very long way to go but so far I have lost 20.4 lbs. My non-scale mini victory is that last week I walked 1/2 mile twice and it felt good. I have even noticed a little more room in my clothes and now I can put on my own socks all by myself. This may sound crazy to some but this was a feat for me. There is no turning back now.

When I started I weighed 359 lbs. now I am 338.4. Will continue until I can dance again and live the way I use too, life to the fullest. My next mini goal is to lose 15 more lbs to have lost 10% of my weight. I need all the support I can get.

i thought is was a lot to lose with only 8 lbs. i use the same measuring tape every time i measure myself so i know it's fairly accurate. really the only thing i did different was eat differently. when i finally decided to lose weight i was half way through basketball season and it doesn't end for another 3 weeks. i'm surprised at how much my body changed and i really don't even notice it.

Ladies,
Last I spoke to you all I was at 338 and needed 15 more to reach my 10%, well then I gained a pound and some ounces, this week I lost 6.6 and reached my 25 pound goal. Hot dog, now I only need 10 more pounds to reach my 10%. Keep me in your thoughts. I am going to do this.

est1991- awesome! Losing waist/butt inches is the best! And three inches in your thighs- that must be really noticeable!

Aggie- Welcome! Congrats on your 25 pound loss! It takes awhile to figure out how the forums work, but instead of hitting "Post Reply," you should go back to the main mini-goal page and hit "New Thread." That will let you start a thread just about you that you can use to introduce yourself.
