SOrry I haven't checked here in a long time. My husband and I had been watching fat content. Not just trans fat but reg fat also. At the begining we were staying under 25 grams of fat a day. It was hard at first but once you go to the grocery store and find out how much fat stuff has it gets easier. My husband is still doing it but now that he is at 190lbs he eats about 40g of fat a day. Maybe. It doesn't work for everyone. My mom couldn't stand doing it. It worked for us. Hope this helps. Again sorry it took so long to get back to you.
