Hello all!
I've been an on-again off-again member for a long time - since 08 I believe. My all time high adult weight was around 250 (although I didn't own a scale at the time, so roughly 250-255). I lost around 20 lbs in the summer of 2008 and have kept that off ever since, but stalled around 232 lbs. Last summer I lost around 7 lbs but gained it back quite quickly over the fall semester. I graduated from college in December and since have re-started my weight loss journey.
In January I joined WW and have so far lost 20 lbs - the first 15 were quick, but I have struggled with the last 5. I found that if I didn't write down what I was eating, I sneaked things here and there that added up, and although that didn't result in any gain, I didn't lose any weight for about 3 weeks. Well, I'm back on the wagon, and I lost 2.2 lbs this week, bringing my total weight loss since starting WW to 21.2 pounds. I'm just 1.8 lbs away from a 10% loss! I'm very excited
Some great things about losing the 40 lbs: I've gone from a tight size 20 pants to a size 16. All my clothes fit better. I can fit into clothes that I actually want to buy and don't have to buy things just because they fit. I appreciate my body more. My stretch marks are fading (which I didn't know was possible!). Everything just feels easier
