I started back on MRC yesterday. I struggled to do it on my own because I couldn't afford the program. I was supporting two households until my son found a full time job. I'm excited to be back on the program and get back to my goal weight of 140. I looked at the meat lovers program and I liked the variety you could have on the program, but given that I work out an hour a day and run several miles a week I need the carbs. Excited to be back on program.

Hooray!! 2 lbs down after the first 4 days. I love the quick results in the early part of this diet, so motivating. On to the next menu-blue, I think; trading the cheese for 1 egg at breakfast and the "standard" protein and veggies at lunch and dinner.

OMG. I chose the Meat Lover's Plan and having been loving the choices that I get. BACON?! I haven't had bacon since June 2014. It is the uncured kind and is awesome. Nuts! My favorite. They used to be my downfall since I wasn't supposed to eat them on the green menu, but knowing that I can plan to have them is nice. I don't know yet how the plan will work for me - but maybe just shaking things up is good for me.

raven59 - WOW! Awesome start! If you don't mind sharing - where was your bike trip?

cmmnsnfml - welcome! Are you doing the Metabolic More plan? It also has a lot more food choices than the old menus. Glad things are getting less stressful for you.

bigdog - HOLY COW! Glad the WW is working for you!! SEVEN??!! My chin is still hanging open

Happy Halloween everyone! Stay strong

Hello all. Just wanted to check in. Sounds like lots of people saw their good choices pay off on the scale. Me too. Not crazy numbers, but enough to know I'm going in the right direction and I feel great. I had a really energetic week (hello to what I should know...crap food leaves me tired). I got a few projects done that I had been putting off.

Mondays are always a fresh start. That's the day I do my grocery shopping and meal planning (except in reverse order).
