Default Green Bean Recipe

Hi everybody! Just wanted to know if there is a green bean recipe that you absolutely love? I steam my green beans but I need a way to jazz them up and I haven't really found a great way to do that. I do have the cookbook and I know there's a recipe thread but I thought this might be the quickest way to see how everyone fixes their green beans. I like simple but yummy! I was thinking a little grass fed butter but then what spices would you use? Ready, go....

You need a frying pan with a lid, green beans, olive oil, crushed garlic. lite soy sauce.

I will do this at 2 hours before supper. To let them continue cooking without burning in the covered pan. If you like crunchy veggies then you don't need to. I like soft veggies.

I fry them in Olive oil on a high heat. Stir frequently. In between stirring always put the cover on. After about 3 minutes or so shut off the heat (important leave the covered pan over the heat element).

Then I leave them until it is time for dinner. High heat put crushed garlic in stir, then when heated through shut off add 1 TBSP of lite soy sauce. Enjoy!

Roasted in the oven. Toss raw green beans with a bit of oil, herbs/seasonings of choice, place in a single layer on a baking sheet, then bake until slightly brown around the edges. (10-15 minutes) Oven temp should be 350-400.

I love the last two ideas. Roasted green beans and Asian garlic green beans are both so delicious!!!!
