Okay... I am back. Its been about 1 year. Ive gained all 50 pounds back plus 10 I have about 90 to loose. My goal is just to get under 200. i am 262 right now biggested Ive ever been. I had 15 weeks paid already. I had been put on a medical hold last year so I had no idea I still had 15 weeks of meta more left! yay! but starting with hcg for one month to reprogram my brain. I am NOT a fan of hcg or 750 calories but right now I am so brainwashed by food. Like eat like the world is coming to an end right now lol. so embarrasing so I am choosing to do that first before meta slim. Wish me luck. So tired of being fat and unhealthy. My kids need a healthy mama.

Weighed in today and lost nothing and I'm on preconditioning! I weighed in on last Friday but didn't start the plan until Monday. At first I was super disappointed but then remembered that I partied w my brothers from out of town ALL weekend! Friday, Saturday and Sunday!!! Ate out every meal and drank like a stinking fish trying to keep up w the boys!! So with all that confessing- I'm lucky I didn't gain 10 lbs! Was on plan Mon- Friday so hopefully next week I'll show a loss. My coach went thru my journal and told me I need to eat my starch for breakfast and lunch and add a healthy fat for breakfast. I was using lite Italian dressing as on plan and she said to switch to Walden Farms..
I've tried the honey mustard and it was awful! Any flavors you guys like?

Bigdog.. You know why you did not lose, so just go on a new start.. If I have starch I only eat at breakfast and lunch, never for dinner. My healthy fat, I add for breakfast most of the time. If I have starch at suppertime, I gain, but that is me, others don't. I only have one starch a day. Carbs are the devil, for sure for my weight.

I either make my own, or use Fat Free Dressings.. I do not like Walden Farms. I have never found one that I liked. I find it easier to use Fat Free, as I can have more than if I make my own. Let me know if you try one you like.

As for liquor, I like white wine, and now have two drinks while out to dinner, or will have coffee with a liquor in it,or sangria, but when I was losing weight I had no alcohol at all. If I was at a gathering, I would ask for a club soda with some lemon or lime.. I always had a HNS with me, a red one, that I would mix in if I had to walk around with a drink and it looked like some sort of mixed drink. Those gel concentrated ones work real well.

I had a coffee latte, made with coffee, low fat, sugar free skim milk, sugar free rasberry syrup, and I had them make it in the frozen state like a frozen drink.. I have had this before on maintenance, as a matter of fact once a month and no problem.. This time, I gained 2 pounds the next morning.. They may have changed the ingredients they were using, or made a mistake in the ingredients.. Will try one more time in a month to see what happens. This is a locally owned coffee shop, so they will let me see ingredients, as I know the owner, so will look at ingedients to see if they have changed. Sooooo, here I am again, trying to get weight off.. LOL.

I would imagine you have started on the green menu , is that correct?

What do you use for your healthy fat in the am? She suggested Kerry Gold Butter on light bread toasted. I remembered I used to make cinnamon toast w spray butter- wonder if I could spray Olive oil and toast?
I'm starting on the Meta More- seems like there are too many starches and fruit on it though to lose. We will see. If not I'll dig out the green menu tried and true!
She told me the Walden Farms poppyseed was good. I bought Kraft Lite Balsam Vingerette and Lite Raspberry. 25 cal per serving. Haven't tried them yet. They only had WF onion and thousand island...Bleah. The plan said I could have lite Italian so not sure what her problem was? She was eating bell peppers with plain Greek yogurt so maybe she's not used to things tasting good. Lol!!

For fats in morning I will have avocado,( I like eggs and avocado on toast),or vegan butter, fat free cream cheese or sometimes I will put some olives in my omelette. Also on toast I will use some tahini on occasion.. If I cook with olive oil, I count that as my fat.

What is the new green menu called meta slim more? I forgot..

Bigdog..

Do not know how this fits into your weight loss plan, but here is a dressing I make often.

It says it serves 4, but my husband says not likely.. LOL

2 tsp. strawberry jam( also good with raspberry) and apricot..
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

I place it all in my nutribullet and it is done.. Easier than whisking it..

My DH suggested a spritz of olive oil on the bread with small amount of grated parmasean cheese. I always eat 2 boiled eggs every am so will add the bread w healthy fat. The kerrygold butter is An Irish grass fed butter that my counselor loves- she gets it at Publix. Wonder if Laughing Cow cheese would count?

Patzi. The new plan is Meta More.
Thanks for the recipe! Do u use sugar free jam? U just gave me a great idea. I could blend my frozen strawberries with the lite balsam vinegarette
Dressing I got. . My DH makes a great Ginger rice wine vinegarette that is low cal. Seasoned rice wine vinegar, grated ginger and blend of olive and canola oil. It's sooooo good!

If I have not made my own jam, yes, I use sugar free or jam that is pure with no additives and no added sugar. However, I usually have jam that I have made with stevia as a sweetener, or sometimes agave nectar. I have the ingredients for the Ginger Rice wine in fridge, so will make that today, thanks.. Bread with sprinkled parmesan is sooo good.. I have tried that.

Our HyVee's finally got in the Walden Farms creamers, so I bought the French Vanilla and original. The original was pretty horrible and chemically. Made me burp these plastic-y burps. The french vanilla is ok. Nothing outstanding. A little to sweet for me and not creamy enough. I'm curious how the sweet cream tastes. I'm not sure if I'll buy it or not.

I've skipped my weigh in 3 weeks in a row. Eek! I'm for sure going Thurs, and hope it isn't bad. I'll get my measurements and all that jazz.

The ONLY things I like from the Walden Farms line are the pancake syrup (Yummy!!!) and the chocolate sauce. Everything else does not appeal to me.

It's kind of funny that my coach was adamant about I had to get this grain free blah blah Irish butter to use in the am and is totally pushing Walden Farms even though I am using the light Italian dressing the plan recommends (less than 3 G fat and carbs). Who knows what is in that Walden Farms stuff at 0 cal? If it's nasty, that will discourage me from eating salads. Am I supposed to hold my nose and eat it? Lol!! Also I enjoy Melba toast and she said- OH NO- you need to eat light bread! She tried to tell me I couldn't have Parmasean cheese but I showed her the list and it clearly says hard cheese. Then she leads me into the room of products saying I needed to buy this and that!! I told her I just bought 5 boxes of HNSs last week and she says that it's in the contract I have to have 4 HNSs a day. I told her I was on Pre-Conditioning so haven't used the boxes I bought yet. Then she harped on the pills- that I should take them and I firmly said that I WOULD NOT be taking them ever. She said - don't you want to lose weight quicker and I said no- that 1-2 lbs a week was ok w me. . I know she was talking about me when I left!! Haha. BTW - only 2 HNSs are required per day....

Wow BigDog, your people are high pressure! I was scared going into the plan that the counselors would be that way, but ours aren't at all. I said upfront no supplements besides the HNS, and they've respected that.

I placed my order today for the Zilch coffee creamers, so I should get them in a week or so. I'll share reviews after I try them!

I got on the scale last night, and I'm up to 147....what?!?! I started out at 154, then got down to 142, now I'm getting right back up there. I'm kinda freaking out. I think I need to take a good look at my portions and find something to do when I'm hungry instead of grabbing a string cheese

I weighed in at 143, so up 0.5 lbs from last time I weighed in, but, my lean muscle is up and fat down! Body fat is down and measured smaller in my arms and thighs. I feel pretty good.

The counselor recommended trying the strawberry banana gelatin as a hot drink. Adding more water, Splenda, and a cinnamon stick. I bought some to try!

Christina - that's good news- I've been exercising a lot more so hope I'm gaining muscle. We went to a food show (my DH is a Chef and we own a restaurant) earlier this week with over 200 vendors. I tasted mostly meats and cheeses, threw away the bread if it was served on it. Did sample an incredible lettuce wrap that had grilled chicken and marinated veggies with a Ghost pepper mango sauce. Sooo good! Made my own last night with flank steak, raw stir fry mixed veggies and shredded cabbage. Added a bit of spicy salsa. Wrapped in Romaine leaf hearts. Very good!
Camping for 5 days and did pretty well - drank 3-4 HNSs a day and had to stop a few times at the bath houses. LOL! Over 11,000 steps a day walking the dogs on the beach! Haven't got on the scale yet but was able to still fit in my shorts - YAY! Am on my exercise bike as I'm typing this.
Love the cranberry green tea and Grapefruit HNSs. I put in single serve blender w ice - lemon is good too.
Bathing suit weather will be here soon so need to stay focused and get this weight off.
Hope everyone is doing well and please keep sharing.
