In a nutshell, we thought we may have to put my cat to sleep last Saturday. She was diagnosed three weeks ago with Pancreatitis and had become dehydrated. The doctor admitted her and was going for a third round of IV fluids. So I spent the last three days crying my eyes out because she is my first pet...ever and the doctor said it may not work. To make matters worse, she was a Christmas present so to have it happen now is just awful. Luckily, she responded well to IV fluids, but the doctor cautioned me she is terminal. At this point, it could be a week or a few months. It just depends on how she does at home.
So, I didn't eat much or drink much or take many of my supplements because I lost my appetite. Then, at Sunday dinner there was Italian bread, so I started eating that. Bad move. So, just so I don't have to think about eating breakfast or lunch, I'm doing Meta-Quick this week. I don't want to have to force myself to eat and then get hungry and eat the wrong things. It's just one of those rare times I'm doing this to help me mentally rather than physically.
Sorry to ramble on. I'm just going to keep praying for a miracle.

That means I'm 2 pounds away from my Christmas goal of a total of 40 pounds lost since I started. I also tried on clothes and was fitting into a 14 which was shocking to me. I have been wearing mostly the same clothes since the beginning and they are 18s. As long as the pants don't fall off I have been wearing them. I don't want to spend a lot on clothes when I'm only half way to my goal. I think I'm going to have to get a couple of pairs of work pants though. I had a coworker tell me last week that I was wearing saggy butt pants.
