So excited!! Down a couple more pounds! Had a great time at Muay Thai last night. On cloud nine today! What a relief and also motivator to keep going!

Karla,
This may have been a recipe submitted by a client. Whatever the case, it was approved by the center and was part of a food class that I took for Valentine's Day recipes. I got to taste-test them, and holy smokes were they delicious! Oops, I just pulled out the recipe and it's called Chocolate Pudding Cake with Almond Icing (but I thought the consistency was much more like an ultra-moist brownie ).

************************************************** ****
1 Packet Double Chocolate Pudding HNS
1 Packet Vanilla Creme Pudding HNS
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 oz. water
10 packets Splenda

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Combine the Double Chocolate Pudding packet with 2 eggs and 8 packets of Splenda until well mixed. Spread in the bottom of a small dish (5" x 5"). Bake for 20 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.

*I don't think the "brownies" need the icing, so I'm gonna call this part optional*
While cake is baking, mix Vanilla Creme Pudding packet with water, almond extract, and 2 packets of Splenda. You may need to use an electric mixer to get a nice, smooth consistency. When cake comes out of the oven, let it cool. Then spread icing over top.

Makes 2 servings. REPLACES 1/2 PROTEIN AND 1 CREAMY SUPPLEMENT.

Hello..
Thanks for the recipe. I have the cookbook, will have to look at it again.

I weighed in today and lost 1/2 pound. With weight I gained Tuesday and last Friday, I have 4 pounds to make goal.

Center told me all the protein drinks are going up to $13.00 a box, vs. $12.00, March 1st.

Congratulations to everyone that lost, and y'all have a wonderful day.

Weighed in today..down another pound. I was hoping for more since I'd been so good while at home all week and worked out every day...but I'll take it.

More snow is falling now, but we headed to my mother in laws to be snowed in with her, so she isn't all alone. I brought some food for me to eat (frozen veggies, fruit and some turkey burger patties and such) so I hope I do well while cooped up at her place.

I also packed a couple workout DVDs to do there...

My Zumba training was canceled for tomorrow because of the weather, so I'm not missing out on anything. I am glad for that. They rescheduled for March, so I will just be more in shape then!

Hi ladies!

@razorbackbritt - Sorry to hear you are still snowed in, but glad that your certification got moved! I would hate if you had to wait a whole year!

@patzi - Did they say if they were keeping the 5 for $50 special or is that going up too? Thanks for the info!

I am down 4 lbs so I am back to where I was before my binge started. I am newly motivated and ready to see it through. I have a pot luck at work on Tuesday, but I am going to take my own food. I'll just tell them I have "dietary restrictions". Honestly after my food binge, I feel a WHOLE lot better eating the MRC way. Let them eat cake! ha ha!

I've been kind of MIA lately-- spent my 2 snow days with a cold, went back to work, then had to take today off when my stupid cold turned into a sinus infection. Uuuuggghhhh. I really wanted to go to yoga tonight, but I can't BREATHE, and that's kind of a requirement for the class.

I have been 100% OP since my bummer weigh-in on Tuesday. I have adjusted by laying off the bars/shakes and trying to add raw veggies in at least once a day (more roughage to clean me out). I am maxing out my HNS, increased my EFAs to 6,000, and I have added 1 fulfill fiber drink per day (I don't really need it--not hungry, especially with the cold--but thought the added fiber might help).

I weigh in tomorrow. If this doesn't do it, I'm going to add B vitamins (if my OBGYN says it's ok--I see her next week and she's going to want to put me on prenatal vitamins since we're going to start trying this summer). Otherwise, I'm at a loss.

@Patzi & Hteep: Congrats on your losses. Patzi, just don't let them bully you, you're doing fine. Hteep, you can do it!

@Razorbackbritt: I am really glad they moved the certification date. That would have sucked to have to put it off after all the work you've been doing to prep for it right now. Good luck!

I'll check back in tomorrow to let you all know how my weigh in goes.

Teacher Lady...
I decided I would not let them bully me.. I refused another supplement. Today it was for estrogen. Every time I go in there, they say I am lacking something and suggest a supplement.LOL. I told them today, they are going to run out soon of my deficiencies. I told them NO, and that was it. I have until mid March to get off the 4 pounds, as I did buy extra weeks, so I am sure I can make that.

Hteep.. No they did not say if they were keeping the 5 for $50.00.

Sorry for all you people that are snowed in. I live in Florida, but grew up in Mass and went to college in NY,so know how that can be.

Have a nice night .

Ashleyrae- I made the brownies for lunch. Delish! Thanks for sharing that recipe.
Patzi-Congrats on being so close to goal. I'm sure you will hit your goal! I'm going to check w/my center about hns prices going up. Hopefully they will still have the 5/$50 etc.

Britt-Have fun @ your mil's house...at least you are prepared. That is awesome about your Zumba cert. date changing.

hteep-

teacherlady-I hope you are feeling better

I'm weighing in tommorrow. Fingers crossed that I am down. I've been op 100% but I am not feeling like i've lost weight....if that makes any sense. My dbf & I are having friends over for the Super Bowl and he is cooking his yummy wings. I am not sure what I am going to cook that will be op (i've looked in the cookbooks but have not made a decision...maybe the chili). I am half-way considering eating before guests come so that it won't be uncomfortable for anyone. I will be chugging water like crazy for sure. Here is to an op weekend my friends.

Good luck to all weighing in today. I am hoping for measurements as well.

@ AshelyRae - Thank you for the brownie recipe. I will definitely try that one.

@ Teacherlady - Best of luck to you for WI today. I know how frustrating it is to plateau for several weeks. You are so close to your goal. It WILL happen!

Enjoy your weekend all!

Good morning ladies. I woke up to another rainy morning. The baby and I were supposed to have a play date with some friends this evening that included dinner at a pizza place. I have been trying to figure out how to stay OP during the event. I got a message this morning that the kids have the flu. As much as I hate that for the babies, I am relieved that I don't have to worry about staying OP. Is that bad?

@teacherlady - I am sorry to hear about your sinuses. It seems like it is that time of year. Everyone around here seems to be having nasal issues.

@karla - I know what you mean about feeling like you haven't lost. Those seem to be the times that I have lost the most. When I think I have had a great loss, I haven't lost anything. LOL! Good luck!

Yay! I finally broke my stall! Down 3 lbs today, for a total of -2lbs for the week. I almost cried, I was so relieved.

I bought some more fiber drinks, I'm going to keep using those and maxing out on my HNS. I also need to get to work to figure out more ways to "mix up" what I eat. I think my sister and my consultant were right--I was eating the same things every day, and my body got too used to those foods.

I just hope the downward trend continues!
