I didn't buy it and I still haven't. I've lost 7lbs this week so I figure it didn't hurt too much. I wouldn't be taking it as a long-term solution or way around getting to eat carbs and fat. I would only take it in the beginning, while I'm still learning and becoming familiar with some of the hidden evils out there.

Sandi ... I'm so sorry if you thought my post was personal about you, it wasn't. I totally understood that you just wanted to go out to eat and stay on program as best as possible. I was (feebily) trying to say that when you go out to eat, as much as you can try, they are always going to have hidden fats and tons of sodium (even when you ask them not to). I just try to use a napkin to absorb as much of the fat off the vegetables as possible. And I think if we decide to go out to eat, we should just enjoy it, and do the best you can to minimize that impact naturally.
My only point was just accept that it may take your body a day or so to flush that all out, and let it happen naturally. You're early in your program, so you'll use quickly at first, so it may not happen now (and obviously didn't when you went out to eat), but later on it will matter.
I'm one of those who is very anti-pill (we all have different opinions). There are great consultants who will not push anything, and there are consultant who believe a pill is the answer to anything that you feel is wrong. (they make a commission on what they sell) .... that's where my feelings in the previous post came from. I just think if you focus on learning about yourself (and I think they're classes were really helpful) and eating habits, you will work it all out on your own. So I just always believe we all need to make our own peace with food.
Now, having said all of that -- there are many people who seem to really like the supplements. As I said, we all have our own opinions.
Anyway Sandi ... good luck, sounds like you did great on your eating out adventure!
