Debi,
I just started the program as well. I am at 1.5 weeks. This weekend was a rough one for me. I did so much better when I had the routine of work.

I vacation in Colorado a lot and know what you mean about "being fat in Colorado - you stand out like a sore thumb". I am very active and my trips always include hiking. The looks I receive on the trail are like they wonder how I got out there. I am ready to not have that happen.

Good luck to you. I hope we can help each other keep strong.
Sandy

Yea for you, Sandy! The first couple of weeks are so tough - I felt it on the weekends as well. Hang in there; it WILL get better - I promise! Once you system is sort of flushed out and you're in the habit of eating the right things, your cravings will diminish. Just try to stick to the plan completely and you'll reach this point faster. Good luck and I look forward to staying in touch!

Hi Deb! I am just getting started here too. I haven't yet been to the Instructional meeting, but I am doing the pre-conditioning right now. I am really excited about making changes in my life and I wish you all luck.

I'm on day 21 and I've lost 10 pounds so far. I had a set back this last week due to having a family member in the hopsital, but other than that things are going really great. One thing that I've figured out is......the more water the better!!

I started in 9/09 in a size 22-24/3X and by 12/09 in a size 14/L and 60 lbs gone.
That, to me, was a huge change in a fast amount of time, so you might be in for a big surprise. I have slowed down, but am still going, but that big change occurred very quickly! All the best -- this plan works!

Hi again, Junie! We're all in the same boat here, don't ever feel alone! I don't know how anyone does this without support. Take care and keep us posted! I've been on the plan for 4 weeks + 1 precon week and I have lost 19.5 lbs. WILL sign the 20lb board Friday!
Best,
