Default Fast Burners

Hi,

So I figured I would share with all of you my story, I was going to the center this time last year, well about 2 months into the program, everything slowed to a snails pace. Well at our Center there is a lady that works there that is a nutritionist and luck of the draw, I got her one day for my weigh in. She looked at what I was eating on my food diary and she told me I was not eating the fast burners. Well I had never heard of the fast burners, I was eating things like Brussel sprouts, apples at lunch. She sat down and gave me a menu for a week with fast burners. I don't have it in front of me, but one of the things she gave me was a receipe for italian salad. I love this salad and never get sick of it. I believe on the list was things like oranges, pineapple, canteloupe for fruit. I will see if I can find it and post it.

Italian Salad:

2 oz tomatoes
2 oz green pepers
2 oz celery
2 oz cucumber
green onions
italian herbs
olive oil - 1 teas
cider vinegar - 2 teas

you don't have to be exact as long as the combo makes 8 ounces.

Enjoy

Me too!! It'd be interesting to know out of our list which ones are the best choices.

me too! I'll put it away for myself once I get there, and I can pass it on to my friend who is farther along on the program than me.
Good luck, I hope it works! That salad sounds yummy

ok so I couldn't find the complete list of fast burners, but here were some of the dinners she told me to eat. Also I love the Cilantro Lime Coleslaw, one of my favorites.

Tilpia - 4 oz
Italian Turkey Sausage - I think it's in the cookbook
Sirloin/Flank Steak

Italian Salad
Zuchinni fries - cut zuchini in half then again, spray with I cant believe it's not butter - bake 450 until tender

Cilantro Lime Coleslaw
1 bag of angel hair coleslaw - or dice your own
1 bell pepper
1 anaheim pepper
3-4 green onions
Grape tomatoes
cliantro - however much you want
pepper/sea salt to taste
lime - juice of 1 or 2 - whatever or however much you want

Sorry, I am in the midst of moving and most of my recipes are boxed up. Once I unpack I will post more

It's apple cider vinegar and italian herbs are dried herbs you can but in most grocery stores, it's just a combo of different herbs.
