Default Newbie in CO

Hi everyone,

I am new to the site and have read ALOT today and just couldn't wait any longer to register and say Hello!

I have an appointment this afternoon with MRC to check out the program and the COST. I have about 150 to lose and am hoping this is something I can afford.

Wish me luck

Mel

Mel...don't let the sticker shock scare you away from MRC. I've got just over 150 total to lose myself and I'm down 50 in 5months. I've done MRC before and I've always averaged 10lbs a month.

Yes, its expensive...the only way to think of the money is as an investment in your health...otherwise it feels crazy.

Welcome to the boards

It is pretty expensive but I really think it's all a wash if you compare it to one of the meal delivery systems. It's one big up front fee and then you have to buy your HNS for the duration.
They will offer A LOT of other stuff but I decided to only buy what I had to buy the HNS and Total Woman supplements. Everything else I can find cheaper somewhere else or simply do not need.

Hope you find something that works for you!

It feels like a chunk up front, but with the savings I have from eating out or eating too much or eating poorly, my total monthly expenses have actually gone DOWN since i've been on program.

No cocktails, no starbucks latte's and not nearly as much eating out sure does help me save money!

Hope you join us and get this whole "lose weight" thing over once and for all.

Like everyone else has said, don't let the price scare you off. It almost made me decide not to do plan, but I'm glad I did the math and realize that I'm saving money when I compare all the coffee and eating out I was doing.

I'm losing on average 3.5 lbs a week, and nothing feels as good as that for me.

Which center in CO are you looking to go to?

Ah, we go to the same center. Most of the ladies there are amazing and totally helpful. You'll love it.

Don't let the price deter you. I'm down 43 lbs in 12 weeks and when I think about all the money I've saved by NOT eating out, getting coffee etc, it's evening out to be just about the same.
