I started the green Menu 9-23-09. Lost 51lbs and 66.5 inches.
Started stabilization 2-25-10. Just finished week 4. Lost an additional 8lbs. so far. Two weeks of stabilization left til maintenance. That, I'm told, will be my final weight to maintain.
Went for my annual physical.....Total Cholesterol down from 230 to 127.
Wooo Hooo. This MRC plan rocks.

I got to sign my first board on Saturday for 10lbs! Woo hoo! My goal is to do the next 10 pounds a bit faster!

I've lost about 98 lbs in 9 months! (I still have about 40-50 to lose) This program is wonderful, but like all other diet programs, it is a tool. How you use this tool will affect your results. Good luck!

I was told by one of my MRC ladies a few years ago that for every 10lbs you lose you go down a size.....I hope that's true cuz I'm 3 away from 10.

for me its about every 15-20lbs. i'm only 5'2" so maybe that makes a difference.

well.....I started this journey at my heaviest EVER 237.That was 2 years ago. I went thru the whole program and got to goal but my body fat % wasn't low enough so couldn't do stabilization. I was leaving to help my parents in another state and couldn't follow this way of life. It was VERY hard and there were a lot of issues. Nearly a year later I walked into the center for the second time and resigned up. I was back over 200 and worked my way down to 176.....then ended up very sick and could never get well. I took a 3 month break and still lost 1.5#s so I must have learned something the first time! LOL I am back on plan and am going to complete it this time. I have learned a lot.....but I also know that this program is not a lifestyle to me.....if I were signing on to eat exactly this way for a lifetime I CAN NOT DO IT! I need to do preconditioning and get a lifestyle menu. This second time they keep asking me if this is becoming my lifestyle and I say NO every time. I have to work at this and think about food every minute. I am willing to make conscience decisions but this diet as it is to lose weight is not the lifestyle for me. I think realizing that and know this time around that I have the power to say what I need is my biggest accomplishment.

I loss 8 lbs in the last month. All I changed was that I park a littler farther from work and walk the 13 minutes to and from work to get to my car. I feel better.

I joined MRC in July 2009 and FINALLY hit my goal (50 pounds) on March 15, 2010! In fact, I was 2 lbs beyond goal. So I may decide to go for the additional 8 and make it 60 pounds! I've not been measured in quite a while (my choice), but know when I started, I was wearing size 22W and now I'm very comfortable in 12 misses petites. I've lost a majority of mine in my butt, but a lot of my belly is gone, too. I just have all that excess stuff to get rid of now.

Anyone have an extra $100k they'd like to send me for some plastic surgery?

Congratulations to all on the significant changes you've made within yourselves!

Congratulations JJ :carrot: I'm so happy for you! I'd love for you to post an after picture. Isn't it wonderful being able to bend over without all that stuff in the way! Good luck with stabilization and maintenance. Enjoy cementing the new habits! jeanette
