I was told by one of my MRC ladies a few years ago that for every 10lbs you lose you go down a size.....I hope that's true cuz I'm 3 away from 10.

Thx!! Im too new to this to know for sure about the dress size for 10lbs..but I would think it would be about right.. I was wearing 24’s but I really needed to be in 26’s.. well 26’s are way too big for me…and my 24’s all look loose. People are already telling me I need new clothes..and I just lost 20lbs LOL Ive being using the dryer to shrink some of my clothes I don’t normally dry lol

It has really been uplifting to read all of these wonderful posts! I started on 2 October 2009 and I am down 39 pounds and 21 pounds to go. I have to get measured this week but last month I was down 41 1/4 inches. My blood pressure is also doing fantastic. I had hoped when I started to be at goal by mid-March; however, my body likes to loose around 10 pounds and then settle down before she moves anymore. But that is okay, I am so happy with the weight loss and health benefits!

You all are awesome keep dropping that weight and inches, your body will love you

I started 1/2/10 and I'm down 29 lbs and 31 inches! It feels amazing. :)

Hm, I was told it was every 20 lbs. :P I've only gone down one size with a 29 lb loss.

I'm down 23 pounds and no change in size yet. I'm able to get the next size on, but still have a few inches before I can squeeze them together to zip! I'm hoping by 30 pounds I can drop down...

Secretgrl77 03-09-2010 10:54 AM

I started 11/19/09 and I'm down 42 lbs. I'm not sure about inches lost. I go in this week to be measured.

I started 2/23/10 and I'm down 7 lbs. My clothes are looser... I was a 14/16 and those were tight... now they are getting baggier, but I don't think I'm a solid 14 yet. I was thinking back to what sizes I was at what weights and I think I went down a size about every 15 lbs. So I'm in between the two ratios mentioned.

I think it depends what shape you are for the lb-to-size ratio. I am very hour glass and when my tummy is a small/med, my thighs can still be an extra large. So it takes a little longer for me to drop the top sizes while my thighs are still big and then once those go down, then I think I drop sizes faster. Same with my chest size.

Congrats to everyone! It's not easy, but we're all kickin' butt! :cheer:

When I did the program the first time I went from 227 pounds to 173, and that took me from a 20 to a 14, so that did end up being about 10 pounds per size. But my issue is that I am also hour-glass .... smaller waist, but BIG thighs and butt, and they never went down as much! I could have worn a 12 in waist (and dresses) but not with my butt! LOL

I started this program a little over a year ago and lost 60 pounds...been off plan since December to train for my first Half-Marathon, this Saturday March 13th. I not only lost weight but started running last April using the C25K program with many others on here. My success is not only in weight loss but in health and I feel great. I have gained 10 pounds back while I have been training for the Half-Marathon with the increase in Carbs, however on Monday I am back on program going for the final 25 pounds...

Congratulations to all of you on your success. It is inspiring to me!

I started 1/15 with preconditioning - 1/22 on the green menu. As of 3/8 I've lost 20 lbs and 17 inches.
