If you add more water to them, they aren't as intensely sweet.

I find myself complaining to myself about their sweetness and then I remember that, often I'm taking it without water (because I'm in a hurry) and then I remember, duh, they're meant to be in water. :dizzy:

CONGRATS!

Thanks ladies! I had a WI yesterday and I've lost 23.5 inches so far! I  this plan.

I keep dreaming that I'm cheating on my diet though.... I wake up bummed that I messed up and then am surprised that I'm losing weight daily! LOL

Leigh, Thank you! yes...I have been resting that is why I haven't been on the forum lately. :)

karla 03-16-2010 09:56 PM

I haven't been on in about a week. I have been so busy getting back into the routine of work & no bed rest lol. I got measured last week & am down a total of 27 inches! I really was hoping for lbs. to be a lot less, but I guess I just need to be a bit more patient. It looks like everyone is doing great. Keep up the good work!

Hello Everyone.
I have done this a couple times.....the first time was back before Heavenly announced the baby. I love you for all the inspiration BTW Heavenly.

I also spent time with Deb......my second time I got to the weight I am now. I took a break due to H1N1 and then I just kept getting sick as my body never really seemed to bounce back.....now my son is REALLY ill but it is time to finish this.....so I am back.

CONGRATS to all the wonderful losses I have seen on the boards!

dkmd27 03-17-2010 12:30 PM

YAY Jewelie!! So happy to see you here .... so sorry you were sick.

I figure if I keep trying one of these times I'll get it through my thick head! :)

Back from vacation --- up 1/2 pound (but I earned it -- had a glass of wine every night ... uh oh). But overall I'm happy with that!

Now back to business!

Hvnlymzic 03-17-2010 01:21 PM

Good to see you again Jewelie! We have to quit meeting here ;) Unfortunately for most of us, weight management is a lifetime issue. I don't want to be a roller coaster gainer/loser all my life, but i figure if I'm working on it, thats better than not working on it and giving up. Anyway...welcome back! :)

Deb - Welcome back to you too...Hope Vaca was good :)

Moton - congrats!! Those are great numbers. Be proud :)

Karla - Keep up that recovery girl! Your body has been through alot and sometimes when we get sick or go through a trauma of some kind it just wants to hang on to water and fat because it's prepping for more assaults. Not much you can do to fight physiology on that one. It's a safety mechanism and a good one. You work on the recovery and the rest of it will fall in line soon :) Hang in there. By the way...my 18mo old son is 29in tall...you've about lost a tall 18mo old in inches :)

I am getting off of this roller coaster!! For the last 4 weeks I have lost, gained, lost, gained and now this week...I lost. And I'm done. I'm gonna have two losing weeks in a row if it kills me...and it won't! Its been my fault (mostly) and I had a huge loss this week (4.5lbs) but following a gain, it's not really that big.

Back to the basics this week! I need to fix this mess before I slip and stay on the roller coaster. I can do it!

I think I've been on that same roller coaster.. such a great way to put it. I've been up, down, stayed the same for about 3 weeks now..

I got back to basics on Monday. I was noticing that I was eating more preprocessed food.. SODIUM.. is not my friend.. Now it's back to chicken/veggies.. and just doing the program. It's so hard to not stray some days..

I weigh on Friday, so hopefully I'll be down like you.. Hang in there girl!!! :goodluck:

Hvnlymzic 03-18-2010 09:54 AM

You can do it Meezoo! Enough of this 1 step forward, two steps back stuff. We'll get off the ride together. :)

jeweliek 03-18-2010 10:07 AM

Welcome back from vacation Deb.....so nice to see you.

Heavenly....that is exactly what I'm fighting with....Back to Basics....our center used to have a class with that name and I really wanted to attend but when I asked they don't have it anymore.....so....I am doing it just like you, one meal at a time. We can do it!

MeezoGirl....see the above comment to Heavenly! But yes you can do it!

This morning, un-officially I am down! I know we are not supposed to weigh ourselves at home, but I have never been able to follow that rule. I will post the official # tomorrow but I hope I keep the lose I'm showing!

Good Luck all and happy eating!!!! (onplan that is)

SalaamDementia 03-18-2010 11:18 AM

Uhg, UP a pound this week. But I've really been slacking on my HNS and my TOM is coming due. Stocked back up on HNS last night and hoping to get back into the swing of things this week.

lolajean624 03-18-2010 11:27 AM

I just came from weigh-in - I'm down 22.5 lbs in 52 days. Not bad in my mind. Last week I was feeling very unmotivated so I spent some time journaling and thinking about why I've been working so hard at this and now I'm feeling more pumped up. It helps too, that the weather in NE has finally decided to cooperate - we've got a sunny day for the first time in a very long time. I'm going to use that as a motivator to mix up my exercise and my water. Being out in the sun will help on many levels.

I qualify for my ticker today and just wanted to try it out. Yay! :exercise:
