Karla - glad to hear the update. Don't worry so much about being OP right now...your concern should be with healing your body. Don't use it as an excuse to go crazy, but don't stress too much about your food. If you find something you can keep down...keep it down and worry about being OP later.

I had my WI yesterday and finally...after almost 4mo on plan...hit my first plateau...or so my consulatant said. I think the no loss this week has more to do with my food choices than a plateau, but whatever. We slid on the ice this week and wrecked our car...we were on our way to a date (had just dropped the little one off) and slid into a guardrail and then into a curb a little later. Not hurt, but our car wasn't drivable. So...no date...but we were starving, so we had Chinese. We were starving by that time and the buffet sounded good. I didn't overdo, but I wasn't gonna worry about being OP either. Oh well. On to next week.

Tough work week.. This is the 3rd time we've had cake for someone's bday this week.. I have actually resisted all 3 times.. I feel like an addict not doing drugs when they are in front of them. I love cake.. and I mean LOVE cake..

I actually feel really good about myself for resisting. Whew.. Going to weigh at lunch.. Hopefully my persistence will pay off..

Oh good god, I know what you mean with cake. Fat kid with cake - thats me. I haven't been tempted with it YET, but when it happens it is going to be so hard. Good for you for resisting though! Yay willpower!

Hvnlymzic, sorry to hear about the crash. That can be one of the most stressful things to deal with. I'm glad you're both okay though!

Just got back from WI. Down 1.5lbs. Wish it was more, but I'll take it. The counselor actually things I'm not eating enough. I never eat my afternoon snack, and she thinks that has slowed my weight loss. Who knew?? So I will start eating the snacks.

Thanks for the encouragement. I forgot to mention the chocolate covered cream puffs and ice cream to go along with the cake.

I told my mom that I was going to call HR. This is just cruel and unusal punishment for a fat girl..

Have a great week ya'll... See less of you soon!

I WI today and was down only .5lbs, I'm a little bummed about it because it has been so slow lately. I hadn't posted my WI because of it being so slow.
On a up note overall it is now 25.5 lbs since Nov. and 31.5 inch lost.
I am excited about the overall but it is really dragging. It's hard to explain but I am so anxious to go shopping and buy those 12's. sexyrene

Sam .... so sorry about your "ruined date" and car! And you know your plateau really isn't one --- it's the sodium from the Chinese food -- it will vanish at your next WI!

Karla .... take good care of yourself and heal your body -- don't worry about being OP!

Karla, glad to hear you are home and you have a great attitude. Having a great attitude is a huge part of the battle you are fighting. You are in my prayers.

hvnly-sorry to hear about your car accident, but glad to know you were both ok.

meezoo-cake is a hard one to pass up at times, but you did it three times in one week! That is cruel I will agree.

sexyrene, you might be surprised to find you can wear a 10 right now. We are about the same height and weight and when I finally broke down to buy jeans, 12's were too big.

kimmermarie, hope you are having a good week as well. Here's to a great weekend for all of us!

Deb-it's always nice to see you, how's it going for you?

Small victory tonight. I resisted pizza, fudgecicles, and ice cream sandwiches. End of day four, I already feel better.

Congrats to everyone on their loses and small victories.

Sam-I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I'm glad that it was just your car that was hurt & not you or your family

Meezoo- Willpower woman! I didn't realize how much my coworkers influenced my eating until recently. I noticed how much we ordered in when we had deadlines/projects/were busy. Of course now all of us are OP & can't/won't participate it is HARD but in the long run it will pay off! Loved the HR comment lol!

NWA- Good will power!!!!!

Thank you everyone for saying their prayers for me! The pain is starting to kick in today, but from past experiences I know the 2nd day is always the worst. I have had barely any food b/c of nausea/lack of appetite. I'm not too worried about staying OP until I get back to feeling a bit better. I'm aiming for Saturday. On a brighter note tomorrow night my hubs & I are supposed to go to a George Strait/Reba Mcentire/Leanne Womack concert tomorrow night. I can't really walk...but anything to see them! I think he'll just have to drop me off at the arena & i'll sit & wait for him to go park the car lol. I hope everyone has good Friday!!!!!

Hello All, I don't post often, but I've been keeping up reading about everyone.

I'm finally below my goal weight. I'm starting week three of stabilization and feeling great. I have to say, even though I'm adding some things back on the menu I still feel like I'm OP. Maybe I'll be OP for life....who knows! Anyway this program works.

Have a great week.

they do both of these visuals at my center! it really does help with motivation. such a little thing, but so meaningful!

Meezo - our place celebrates birthday's monthly w/ cake - maybe you could suggest that to your HR dept....overcoming 3/ week would be hard for any of us...good job!
