I only lurk here because I'm not fortunate enough to have an MRC closeby but I just wanna say all of your pictures are AWESOME and make me green with envy! I constantly check the MRC website to see if a center has opened within an hours drive of me...I would even drive an hour and a half, so far no such luck Keep up the good work ladies...you are such an inspiration!

Have you thought about doing to via mail order/telephone? They mail you the stuff and talk to you 1-2x per week on the phone.
E4FEwife, wonderful! You're doing such a great job! Doesn't it feel great to have that weight off of your body?? I tried picking up a 50 lb bag the other day and I could barely do it. It's amazing perspective! Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I can't believe how different my pictures look. I still see myself in my old body and haven't quite grasped the thought of being thinner yet. I look at people who are wearing the same size clothing and think they look just fine, but can't quite project that image onto myself yet. I suppose it will all come in due time. Keep up the good work and before you know it you'll be at goal!
Here are 2 pictures taken of me. One of them, I had my daughter snap a pic so I can do a comparison to the pic I have hanging on my fridge. The other was just a candid pic my son snapped while I was doing the dishes. (My head is kinda cut off, I wonder what that I suppose to mean???)
I just added a candid photo that was taken of me before I started MRC (it is the one that I have hanging on my fridge..it is possibly one of the worst photos I have seen of myself.) I typically deleted all photos of me off the camera before, but this one was taken and printed by someone else and then given to me.
Your pictures look great! did you excercise much on program. you seem very toned for losing as much weight as you did.
Thanks to all that posted pictures! You all look fantastic and the pictures are so encouraging. I will have to get a copy of the picture that my Center took at the beginning and scan it into my computer.
Look at all you losers! (I mean that in a good way) Congrats! I'm trying to reach 50 lbs before my 30th birthday in February. I am going to make it but I would LOVE to be -60 at that time.
WOW!! You look amazing. How long did it take you to lose 80 pounds?
I started June 19th of 2009 and my "during" pic was taken around January 13th of this year... so... approx. 7 months or so to lose the 80 lbs. I'm up to 83 lbs gone and really pushing for those next 17 so I can say I hit my 100!
I was able to get my before and after pictures from my center. They are posted on my profile. I wore the same top but different black pants. The before ones were taken 19 May 2009 when I was 170 lbs. The after ones 19 Oct 2009 - I lost 35 lbs. I signed maintenance agreement at 140lbs and have gotten up to 143 lbs after the holidays and the January birthdays. I'm back on the maintenance wagon and down to 139 lbs again. I was eating too much Christmas chocolates, desserts and not getting enough protein and vegetables. It's hard to not indulge now - I was fine when I was on program and "just said NO" knowing it was not forever, just until I had lost the weight I wanted to. But now, I have to make sure my indulgences are only occasional, not all the time. Thank goodness for the year Maintenance to cement these new habits.
