Default 3 days on preconditioning and not losing?

I weighed myself at home today. And I think I am going to cry. I have followed the preconditioning diet, only exception I made was when I was craving something really bad, I had a handful of trailmix everyday (mostly nuts and cashews). I have eaten more veggies in the past 3 days and this makes me want to throw in the towel. Even a half a pound would have been worth it...quarter of a pound. Something....but that stupid scale says the EXACT same thing as the MRC scale did.

Beth don't be discouraged! I tend to stay the same weight for right about 7 - 10 days then experience a loss on the scale. Preconditioning is the time to wean yourself off of the sugar, caffiene, etc.,. Once you start week one of the program I am sure you will see a loss and be pleased! Constant steady pressure and you will be successful. Welcome!

Beth, you can't cheat, not even a little. It will show on the scales. It's hard, I know!!

Hi Beth - I didn't lose on pre-conditioning either. But once I really started the plan and have been following it to the letter, I have dropped 13.5 pounds! To me this feels like a miracle - I've been trying to lose over the last couple of years and it just seemed like I was getting bigger and bigger.

So - don't be discouraged - be positive and follow the plan! It works!

Ditto to all of the above. Hang in there. The beginning was VERY overwhelming for me....habits to change and learning to wait for results....but they do come....perseverance......

No nuts! They are high in calories and trail mix has raisins in it.. They don't want us to have that stuff.. This may be why you haven't lost anything. Talk to the gals at your center and have them go into it a little more with you. Preconditioning is to get you of the sweets, caffiene and such. Some lose weight on it, and some don't. Once you get the actual diet and follow it, you will do fine.. Good luck and don't give up..

Cheers!
