Default Frustrated!

So today was suppose to be my goal date but I am not there yet. I have 12 lbs to go still. I don't think it would be all that terrible except that for the last month I have only lost 5 lbs. When they did my tanita it showed that I actually lost 6.5 lbs of "fat" and gained 1.5 of lean muscle mass. I am also retaining water they said. Things this past month have been lose nothing, lose 1/2 lb, gain a pound, lose nothing... as so forth. Like I said I did have an overall loss which is great but it is sooooo frustrating because I have been OP 100%. The great thing is I have lost 62.5 inches and am now in the "healthy range" according to my printout. I am also buying size 8 clothes the majority of the time. I know that so many people would love to be where I am at, so I shouldn't complain too much. I just needed to get this out, get past this plateau of sorts, and move forward in hopes that by February 1st I will be within a couple of pounds of my goal. I haven't been on here all that much this month because I have been so irritable about the lack of weight loss. I will overcome this! Everyone ~ Have a Great New Year! See you in 2010!

Don't feel bad.. I had only 7lbs to go and they said I couldn't go into stabilazation cause I still have too much body fat.. Then I went on a chocolate binge and I am not sure what to do.. I too am in a size 8 and told them the other day, I don't want to go any smaller. I tend to look scrawny and I don't want to look like that.. You may just need to do a little tweaking on your foods to kick up the weight loss. good luck and congratulations on getting there!

I'm sorry you're feeling discouraged. Wow, you have accomplished a lot with your weight loss and inches lost. Have you tried Meta Quick? Are you maxing out your HNS? What about skipping your creamy supplement for a day or two? I agree with Ronnie about mixing things up a bit. There are theories out there about carb/calorie cycling where you mix things up so your body can't get comfortable. Sometimes if I only lose a 1/2 lb at a weigh in, I will then eat a little extra protein (like 2 oz) one day and then the next day, I'll reduce my protein at one meal by 2 oz. I've actually found that too much cheese really slows my progress down.

Keep your chin up and focus on how much you've accomplished. It's going to be worth going all the way. Good luck!

Thanks for your responses. I have maxed out on the HNS every day since I started. I decided to mix things up a bit food-wise and according to my scale, the pounds are starting to come off again. We'll see on Monday!
