Good job a having a weight loss! I don't think I have ever had a 2 lb loss - maybe once - usually 1 or 1.5 lbs. Slow and steady with plateaus about every 10 lbs. Just keep on keeping on! jeanette
Whoa Jeanette,
your new profile pic is definitely different from the last one, very cute :0)

Hey porchmom,
Plateaus vary for each person and can certainly be frustrating but ultimately it is a good sign and usually result in a big loss afterwards. I've had platueas in the past that lasted a week and one that lasted 2 1/2 weeks, there seems to be no real rhyme or reason. I've been struggling for several weeks now with very slow to no losses and then suddenly went up 1.5 lbs last Tuesday for no apparent reason (I had been really good) which was really disappointing but my counselor reminded me it was a sign of a plateau, to hang in there, drink more water, max out my HNS and keep going. I did just that and dropped 3.5 lbs by Friday and another .5 on Saturday. I would love my losses to be a predictable steady 2-3 lbs a week but that's just not how this plan works for some of us it seems. Just remember that it will pass, stick with the plan, drink your H20 and have your HNS. Don't start skipping these thinking less calories will break the plateau, that's not the case, I've tried it and it never works. Instead I increased to 4 HNS b/c I've noticed this does help. You're doing good so keep it up!
