Default Motivation and help needed

I have been gaining and losing the same 3-4 pounds since the first of December. I finally broke past that last week Tuesday and finally lost another half pound to make it a total of 40 pounds lost since May of last year. I have also lost 45 1/2 inches! I want to lose about 20-25 more. I renewed my contract the end of November (right before they reduced the costs for the holidays - I was peeved) and would go through March and then I had my teeter totter. I started my "friend" I am pretty sure Monday and so I wasn't sure what the scale would say yesterday but I still weighed in and I gained 1 pound so am back to 39 pounds lost. I had been snacking unlike I should have been this weekend. They have talked about me going on cortitrim or something like that - any suggestions??

I just looked at my notes and the supps they have suggested are as follows: PhentraTrim Plus; MRC 6; Corti-Trim; Guggul Cholesterol. I currently take flax, multi vitamin, B6 and B12.

I think it's hard for anyone else to provide motivation - because we're all motivated by different things. For me my biggest motivation is the $$ I've spent - it was part of my motivation to re-sign when I'd regained about half of what I'd lost & my wardrobe became very limited - I didn't want new clothes, I wanted to fit into the clothes I have. So whether it's health, or your looks, or whatever - you've got to find that trigger to make you stick with it for these last weeks.
As far as taking any more supplements & snacking - try 5HTP - you can pick it up at Walmart, Target (cheaper than the MRC stuff if they still sell it) - it isn't always easy to find but it does seem to help - it elevates the stuff that's in turkey (that supposedly makes us sleepy) - it does help with sleep at night, during the day it helps with mood & even appetite control.

Thanks Meemo but I don't think I can take the 5HTP as I currently take something to treat depression (as that runs in my family and prevents my migraines).

Wow sounds like me!! I started at the end of May last year and i too have been going up and down since December.. Its cause I keep cheating and stuff, but I know how you feel!! Don't give up, We can do it!!!

What exactly do you call cheating. For example I'm obviously not suppose to have ranch dressing, but it's impossible for me to eat a salad with anything but that. I usually dip my fork in the ranch just to get a tad on my salad. Is that going to keep me from lossing weight? I hope not because before I would have the whole 1/2 cup of the stuff.
