How frequently do most of you exercise? :?: Did you exercise a lot in the beginning? I am on Day 16 & currently walking 1 mile 3-4 times a week.
If you added exercise - what type/how often & did you see a difference in the scale?
I know "everyone is different' - I just want to hear your experiences to help me make a decision.

Does anyone jazzercise?

I walk my dogs 2 miles 6 days a week (can't wait for the hot, humid weather to leave!) and I do water aerobics once a week. I've been told it's not how far you walk but for how long. 40 minutes is great, an hour would be better.

Quick Check In..

Hi everyone. I was "called away" at the last minute to go to NYC for the weekend. Actually, my great-aunt passed away and we were the only ones from our family (in Florida) who could make it to the funeral. So, dh and I flew out Friday afternoon and just got back last night. It was sad the day of the funeral, but we made the best of a bad situation and created a "mini-vacation" in New York City for just the 2 of us. We had a great time (other than the funeral on Monday, of course) and I managed to stay the same weight hopefully (maybe I gained a pound, haven't weighed yet).

There's no way I can catch up (esp on my slow as molasses lap top) but I wanted to pop in and say HELLO! I hope you're all doing well. I'll be WI tomorrow early AM and hopefully I'll be at the 40lb board. There was a scale @ the hotel in NYC so we weighed each day to keep on track:). I did eat stuff I shouldn't and I drank some wine and a few other drinks, but we walked A LOT and even rented bikes in Central Park and rode around for 2 hours on Sunday morning. It was nice getaway but also nice to be home and back to "normal". I really want that elusive 40 lb board this week and I NEED to be in the 120s next week! That's my goal. I may not make the 40lb by tomorrow, but I want 129 by Monday and that would actually be 43 lbs, so if I do really well over the weekend I think I can do it.

Take care and I'll check in later or tomorrow after WI.

Hoodia is great for appetite suppressing!! I just like the fact that the MAC helps control the appetite and boost metabolism... Thanks for the input!
:)

Early congrats! Our 35th is in August - in fact my "before" & "after" pics were both from anniversary pics - the before we were on a cruise, the after we were heading out for dinner (one year later).

I feel like Sheera!

 I am so darn excited. Went to WI today & lost 3.5 lbs. That makes 11.5 lbs in 17 days. They also took measurements & I believe I'm down 14 inches - I can't quite remember b/c I was so ecstatic about a loss on the scale. I guess this plan really does work!!! (Yes, I was still doubting.) I even got to sign the 10 lb board.
Thank you for the exercise tips. It's nice to hear that people still lost even with minimal exercise. I am going to start jazzercise soon. Hopefully, that will just add more fuel to the fire.

Rocki I was wondering where you were! I'm sorry to hear about your great aunt. How awesome that you did so well with your diet while being away like that!

Meemo Did you end up re-enrolling?

BTW, my friend's contract ran out 2 days ago, She went to WI today and she was 2 lbs from being able to start stabilization (so 8lbs from her goal weight). The counselor wanted her to sign up again for 99$/17 weeks which is the special they are running right now. My friend was very upset and left without doing it. She is going to talk to the manager to see if something else can't be worked out.

MAC is Metabolic Appetite Control, it's a thermogenic and an appetite suppressant! Hope that helps!

Oh! That is horrible! I don't see why she would have to re-enroll for only 2lbs left to lose! Did she say what her fat% was, because sometimes they go off fat% and rely on that being under 30% before they let people go on stabilization... let us know what ends up happening!

So I went to the Dr. today I hurt my arm last night doing nothing!!! Anyways I have Tendinitis, Not really sure how you get that watching TV...lol... I am going for the big WI in the am. I want to get on the 10pound board but not sure if tomorrow will be my day...
