Well, that's pretty much an average, and it depends on the client. And none of us lose like clockwork - some weeks we lose more, some weeks we lose less, no matter what our average loss per week is. I started out averaging losing about 3 lbs/week, as I got closer to goal it slowed a bit, it ended up being an average of about 2-2.5/week. But I also ate off-plan more than I should've, which of course slowed things down a bit.

I averaged about 5lbs for a few weeks and am now back down to 3 per week... it really does work if you stick EXACTLY to the program! You'll love the changes you see within the first two weeks and more! Good luck!!!

All-Day is a very strong thermogenic, switching between Enhancer and All-Day would be a good choice rather then Hoodia... Hoodia isn't a thermogenic (meaning it won't boost your metabolism) it only is an appetite control...MAC is a good one too but if you have no medical restrictions I'd do Enhancer! Just a thought...

a) go on stabilization (in theory) for the menus, while staying fully OP and going solo on the side, then going solo for the stabilization and follow through on the maintenance.
b) going AWOL for a month (or so) until I lose 15 and get within range of stabilization, going back in at that point and finishing out my contract to stabilize and maintain. If I can't get it off while solo, I'll fork out the hundred bucks at that point to add time. Ugh.

I'm leaning towards option B. I've finally gotten back on the wagon again and am consistently losing now. I'm very motivated to finish the program out but am feeling too much of a financial crunch right now to add weeks on top of buying the HNS, especially when I'm so close. What do ya'll think?

I don't think going AWOL will help..they will still count the time against you, unless you are on a medical hold...
I would talk to your center..explain to them what your situation is, and like Meemo said, they may take time of your maintenance year..but so be it..Plus you are so close..they started my on stabilization when I was 12 pounds from my target weight goal, but I had already hit a healthy body fat % range. They may even let you make 2 payments of the 100 bucks..like 1 payment now, and 1 at the end of August right before stabilization. Also, on stabilization, you will still drink HNS..they slowly go down to just 1 a day by week 6 stabilization.

Goal4Life 07-29-2008 02:56 PM

ok, all, I was thinking that I would be able to hit the 160 (personal goal) number by the end of stabilization and be able to learn to maintain at 160...but my body has been holding on to this stinking pound for 2 weeks! LOL I guess stabilization works when you follow it to a tee :)

Missy: I am so sorry to hear about your surgery. Take care of yourself!

I have been MIA for a while, finishing up grad school and other stuff going on.

WI today for the first time in two weeks. Lost 2.6 lbs.....Really surprised to have a loss as I have been cheating off and on for the last month....finding it hard to stay op lately.

Gma to 4 07-29-2008 03:28 PM

Crystal & Sharon: Welcome back! Sure wish we'd get a check in from some of the others who are MIA.

Down 1 lb at WI today, which hopefully broke my week and a half plateau. My average weekly weight loss is just under 2 lbs. According to the MRC counselor I saw today, it was because of a combination of things - not as much to lose as some folks, my age (I'm probably the oldest on the board), and the fact I'm on hormone replacements. Just 10 lbs to go, so I hope to get to goal by the end of August.

Hi Everyone!

Congrats to all the big losers out there.

Hey Sharon and GMA: Glad to see you, Great losses!

Melinda: You are doing so well. I wish I could get my b/f % down and stabilize. I was told that they would not allow stabilization until then.

Donuts:
10 miles is awesome!!!!

MrsPhibes: Glad to see you back! I started some spinning classes last week. That really does hurt your butt bad!!! I don't know how you do it with all that bike riding. Maybe it gets better with time..LOL

Hey ShineOn!!! You look terrific!!

I know I have some catching up to do, so I'm not intentionally trying to forget anyone. This little mind of mine can't hold much info all at once...LOL

I have been doing metaquick. I did it last week and only lost 1/2 pound. They say I should see a difference at tomm's WI. I sure hope so. Those shakes are sooooo thick. After this I don't think I can stomach them again. I have done it Sunday, Monday, and today also. The counselor said it was okay as long as I'm not getting hungry. My home scale shows a loss, but, hey you know how that can sometimes go. I hope it's right.

Miss you guys! I'll be on and off with work and kids getting ready for back to school.

Hey!!!!

I've been lurking mostly. It's been really busy around my way, so I haven't had much posting time. Thanks for thinking of me! You are a sweet heart!

Pbolton ... be careful with the tuna -- I don't think the steaks are on program (too much fat), but you can have the canned in water tuna. However, when your freezer breaks and you have to eat what you have -- I'm sure it's fine -- I don't think any of us gained our weight eating too much tuna!

I was wondering where some people were -- Jewlie, Mirihawk, Jeannie, Angieroo, 3MM, exquisit, and others I have missed.

Hi Shenanigan! Being thermogenic is great, but has nothing to do with surpressing appetite, surprised the counselor didn't suggest something that could curb hunger, instead of just getting you another thermogenic (which actually increases your hunger, along with your metabolism). Sounds like you need a supplement that will help curb that hunger.

My hunger was TERRIBLE the 2.5 weeks I was on the prediet, but I suppose my body adjusting, and the HNS I began taking really helped when I started on the menu's.

I agree with whomever asked you to post what you are eating, and see if anyone has any ideas.

That is in their guarantee to you, if you sign on, and follow the plan as they lay it out.

I have been fortunate. At WI today, I was down another 3.5lbs, taking me to 25.5lbs total. I started the prediet on June 28th, and the Menu's/HNS on July 14th.

Funny thing is, for some weird reason they do not count the prediet days in with the averages. SO, I am averaging 11.9lbs per week, according to them. LOL. In reality, I am averaging just under 6lbs a week. (I jumped right in at pre-diet... went right into the proper weights and foods... I didn't allow my self a grace period, or acclimation period. So, in my 17 days on prediet, I had already lost 14lbs.)

By their math, on my goal date, I will be 6'4'' and weigh just over 86lbs. :)
