Well I made it another week, only lost 1 pound though. My calories and exercise were the same as last week. I sure hope it picks up some. I've made it a whole month on my plan and haven't had any cola. I used to drink at least 4 a day and lots more if we went out to eat. Hope everyone else is doing fine.
  • Keep up the good work and everything else will follow.
  • 5 Weeks
Hello everyone. After last weeks disappointing weigh in I decided to mix things up a bit. I took wednesday off and had around 3500 calories, the rest of the week I kept my calories around 2000 and had 2 days of 1000 calories just for the heck of it lol. I still walked on the treadmill 30 mins everyday. Total loss for this week was 6.2 lbs. Im only 6lbs from my first mini goal of 295 which is the lowest I can remember weighing in years. Hope everyone is doing well.
  • 6 Weeks
Well it's been 6 weeks, can't belive i've stayed on a plan for that long. Still no sugary sodas. I averaged 2100 calories per day this week and gained 1.8lbs. Think i'll go down a litter on my calories this week, maybe 1800 max.
  • I have done various things in the past trying to lose about 30 pounds. I am 6'7 and was 275. 2 weeks on ideal protied diet i am at 260 losing about 7 pounds a week. 240-245 is my goal weight at 15% body fat. I used to try to reduce calories and go hard at the gym at the same time but it was a vicious cycle of starving my body from needed fuel. I am at about 800 to 1000 calories on the ideal protien and i know that is pretty low but i feel good after 2 weeks with acceptable energy. The next phase i will start to up my protien more and then introduce more carbs in latter phases to fuel workouts. So far i am impressed hard to lose pounds are flying off just love handles and a little more belly fat go! Starting my body fat was 26.4 and lean muscle mass was 200. I am starting to become a firm believer in focusing on losing weight without losing muscle. Once you get rid of the fat then start a program to put on the muscle. Good luck!
  • Well it's been about 7 months since ive posted about my weightloss. As usual i fell of my plan but have still managed to loose 10 lbs. I'm ready to give it another shot finally. I'm hoping to lose an average of 3lbs. per week for the remainder of the year which would put me around 260, can't remember when I weighed that!
  • Had good week. Stayed on track and resisted some dietary temptations lol. Down 4 lbs. Hope everyone is doing well.
  • Good for you for giving it another go again. May I give you some advice? Try not to be so overly strick with your plan. That may be why you are falling away from it. I understand the desire to lose 3 lbs a week but 1-2 lbs isn't that bad either. Plus, I'm sure you want to keep it off too ...
