Talking 72 Days & 40lbs Lost!

This is so cool! Dropped 4lbs this week, so I guess my stall was short-lived. Thank gawd, lol. I got my book, Dr. A's Habits of Health. The jury is still out, as it feels like a subtle commercial for Medifast. I also think it's a bit shallowly written. Not enough detail where there should be. However, there are menus for the weight loss phase using whole foods. The total calorie/carb intake is higher than with the MF meals, but that can be modified. If one gets in a bind, or needs a break from the packages, it could come in very handy. I'm about half-way with the book.
Anyway, just checking in. Everyone is doing great, so keep it up! :

Hey! Great progress!

Wow, that would be interesting to see the whole foods menus! I'll have to check that out since I can't use very much of the Medifast foods.

I love to read and see other people's successes (with MF or any weight loss effort!) It gives me encouragement and hope!

Keep up the great work! Can't wait until I can say I lost 40 lbs!

Thanks for mentioning the book. My coach keeps pushing this book and I think another book for me to buy (besides the Secret book that came for free). I keep wondering if she just wants me to buy to help her bottom line, or, if its really helpful to read.

I've though about becoming a C**ch just to help my friends - and she acted like one of the books is part of that training package you have to buy anyways. Hmmm....

Have you consulted the habitsofhealth dot net website as well? My coach mentioned it, but, I haven't had time to check it out just yet.

And...DUH....congrats on such a great loss! I'm hoping to say that soon too (13.2 down in 3 weeks). Thank you so much for posting that and giving us hope how the program works if you let the program work.

Great job, Dizzie! Keep up the good work - we'll both be at 50 pounds soon. I can't wait to shout that number from the rooftops!
