Default Starting Over?

I never really gave Medifast a good start when I got my products months ago. I tried eating the 5, would get 3 or 4 in then forget completely when I got home from work. And when I started it I decided to not use the Lean Green guidelines, opting instead to follow healthy recipes in general. I didn't fail, really, more like never fully committed to losing weight. I just needed a jumpstart somehow in my weight loss in order for me to commit once again to trying to lose weight.

So I've lost 5 pounds now and I think I'm going to give Medifast another try, what with two months of products sitting in my pantry. My poor husband keeps hearing me change my mind every two seconds about what I'm going to do to lose weight that I'm lucky he just listens and smiles and supports me.

So! My problem is I HATE, absolutely HATE the bars with a passion (I can tolerate the chocolate mint and I love the chocolate peanut butter). I ordered the samplers because at first it was new, and after I tried the products I did like the bars. But I can't seem to get rid of them, DH thinks I should give them away but at 15 dollars a box I don't think so. Instead I'm going to try to scrape the icing off and chop them up into small little bits and add them to the Medifast oatmeal to give it some texture. I hope this works ok because it will cover two meals in one and they do say on the website that it's better to double up than to skip (even though I'd be accidently missing one of the meals instead of purposefully skipping.)

There you go. No real questions, just my thoughts, I'm still a bit skeptical about this working. But I hate to have a couple hundred dollars worth of product sitting on a shelf waiting to expire. So here I go!

I've lost 16 lbs in 3 weeks (10 lbs the 1st week, 3 lbs the next two weeks). It works, but only if you really truly follow the plan. You have to follow the Lean & Green guidelines to stay in ketosis (staying less than 90 carbs/day) and drink lots of water.

Try selling your bars on ebay-- you'll get a good return for your money.

After spending this much money on something, I told myself I was going to stick with it no matter what, and it has paid off. I would have beat myself up if I'd spent that much money and not followed it to a T.

You can try to trade, or put on ebay. You may have better luck on ebay. I would try WonderSlim through Diet Direct, their bars have a much better taste.
