Default Lucky enough to stumble across MF

This is my first post and I've been on MF for about a week and have lost 5lbs. I found MF through the free section on craigslist. Someone who was using it ended up being allergic to the soy and was spreading the love of the program by giving away garbage bags full of product! I know she's like the MF Santa! I loath cooking of any kind except baking so other plans have always been a bit frusterating. I intended to use what product she gave me to get a jump start on losing weight then switch to a diet I have done before but was having a hard time committing to it this time around (pretty much whole food/food combination diet).

Her favorite was cheesecake and apple cinnamon (WS brand) and I have tons of them but I have a hard time keeping them down. I know they got great ratings but I haven't tried it in a blender yet and maybe that will help. Now that I have read all the posts and how valuable and pricey the food can be I'm even more grateful and I'll just chug it down if i have to!

Thank you to all of those who have taken the time to post a question b/c I've read them all and they have been inspiring, informative and encouraging.

Keep it up so I can keep it coming off!!

Welcome! That is great that you have lost 5 pound already and got some freebies! I make the cheesecake in the Magic Bullet with 1 packet of Splenda and put it in the fridge to set for about an hour or so. You might want to try it with a few berries on top if your plan allows. Keep up the good work!

congrats on the weigiht loss, do get in all your water, that is important. I did notice on the diet with the fast weight loss my arms are swingers now. Hoping with toning up it will help some at least.

I do use a Magic Bullet for everything, wont eat any of the mixes with out using a blender. I just keep it on the counter. So it is there. I also dont cook in the microwave, it all tastes so so much better if it needs cooking on the stove. When out I eat a bar or preblend a shake and take along or eat a salad with non processed dressing so I control the sugar in it. Reading labels is a must also before using or buying at the store. I have a book in the car with protein, carb, fat calories listed. A bit larger than a pocket book for easier reading. Eating out is basic as possible. Large salad with just fresh veggies and chicken grilled or baked not breaded. I ask for oil and ving. When I am able to do this I keep losing.
