Default liquid dieting

Hi, I'm trying a new, doctor supervised diet and wondered if anyone had done this. It's called Center for Medical Weight Loss. Consists of 5 meals a day. 4 shakes and a bar. 800 calories per day. I'm on this to 'reprogram' my metabolism. I can't lose, even on 1000 to 1200 calories day. I had been on prednisone and doctor feels this is the culprit.

I am on day 6 and can not see much of a loss (maybe l pound) I've been seriously hungry at times and can, under diet guidelines, eat an extra shake or 2 hardboiled eggs or 4 oz lean turkey. Which I've done. I wondered if anyone else had done this and if so, what the results were. How they handled hunger without cheating. Oh...I'm 60 years old so that may factor into it also.

thanks for any suggestions.

Your diet sounds similar to Medifast, although we get around 500-600 calories from our "meals" - shakes, bars, oatmeal, etc. and then eat one lean and green meal (protein and veggies) daily.

I am on week 2 and I will say it got easier. The first week was really hard. I found drinking water helped a lot. But, mainly I just toughed it out and by the second week, I really haven't been that hungry.

One thing I tried during the first week was heating a cup of water and a boullion cube and eating it like soup. Not many calories, but it felt like eating something.

Good luck!

Hi I have done this and am doing it for a second time.I was seeing a doctor here in my town. The center was called Bariatric Health and Wellness and I lost between 70 and 80 pounds in 8 months time. But I had to stop it for financial reasons. Now recently I have seen a doctor for my blood pressure and sense I had gained back all the weight I lost my blood pressure has sky rocketed.
But I am about to begin my 4th week of doing it again. But this time I follow my paperwork from the center but buy all my food at bariatric choice website.
Now for the hunger question it is probably the hardest thing I have ever tried to do.So I totally get it.
My dr. allowed me one or two dill pickles a day,a boullion cube in a mug of hot water,5 fat free saltines,a couple of pieces of sugar free hard candy & 1 cup of light and fit 60 cal. yogurt. And this was in edition to my supplements.
Sorry to ramble but you are the first one I found that does wonderslim this way.Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Blessings!
Brenda

Hi Belinda,

I'm a homeschooling Mom too I know...that's needless information, lol.

Is this the exact same diet as Wonderslim? I was thinking about switching from Nutrisystem to Wonderslim myself, but I'm still in the research stage.

You get 5 supplemts a day plus the things I added up at the top on my other post.It brings you to somewhere around 700-900 cal. per day.It is very drastic and very hard. But it is quicker than WS.But yes you use the supplements or foods you get off the WS website.
