Thses are such sad days for this country as well as all of our friends and neighbors!
I spoke to my brother today...he is a Naval Officer with the USS Enterprise Battle Group...on its way back to the Persian Gulf. THe crew of this ship are dedicated seamen who have protected our country in good and bad times. They are in good spirits and look forward to doing what is necessary to avenge and protect our nation. They were on their way home after a 6 month tour in the gulf, they have turned around and gone back without thought or complaint. They deserve a salute and a prayer from all of us.
My baby brother(35 yrs old) and my cousin are policemen in upstate NY, they are now in Lower Manhatten assisting in the search and rescue efforts. To say that I am proud of them all would be an understatement, they are just 3 of the many who are defending our country and digging and praying for survivors. These people truly never give up. We owe each and every one of them a debt of gratitude for they are truly what this country is all about.
Please say a prayer tonite for all of our military men and women and all those who are desperately trying to save the victims.
They are angels!
