Okay, maybe I should add....since I've been taking all these "natural estrogen/hormonal" things....I've been the aggressor a couple times lately too! Much to DH's surprise!
Thanks for all the input Giggles, but I don't know if it truly explains my personal condition at all. I am struggling with low carb every day because I find that when I do it, then my anxiety disorder acts up more. On the other hand, if I indulge in the carbs, then my blood sugar rises and I get the "hangover" effect and am literally in a carb fog. My diet literally looks like this--2 days CALP, 1 day not, and on and on. This is just so I can get the clear headedness without suffering too much from the anxiety disorder. It is a tenuous balancing act I do just to keep myself sane! I know that it's a problem, but I am losing weight (slowly) and I guess that's the main goal, right?
i was wondering why i hadn't jumped into this thread... and then i checked the dates. i had just started my 8 weeks of 'incarceration.' my my my... how quickly time flies, and we forget. thank goodness!!!
AND NOW,,, 267 pounds later, there's no more oxygen tank. no more cane. no more struggling to get to the bathroom... i'm hiking and working and swimming and shopping and everything!!!
Gosh, thanks for pulling this up Jiff, just shows me how little I really did know at that time about my own disorder and low carbing...just glad and grateful to be on the other side....
I think I need some of this wellbutrin. I have been on celexa (SSRI) for almost a year and I never, EVER feel the desire to have sex. Sometimes I think there is just something wong with me.
Muffingrrrl... You and I are in the same boat. My husband has the patience of a saint! I have no ida how he puts up with me sometimes. If you do add the WB, let me know how it owrks out for you...

no dear. don't you worry your pretty little head about it. it's what dog breeders make their dogs do so that there will be adorable little puppies around.
I don't remember it either, Ruthie, and my dh is a lot younger than yours. Does this Welbutrin work on men?
I'm wondering if this is the anti-depressant that my daughter has been switched to and has really helped her lose a lot of weight. She was absolutely compulsively carb addicted before and now she has good appetite control. I remember when we were in Scotland together, she wouldn't have any breakfast, a normal lunch and dinner but at about 10 pm her cravings would kick in and she'd eat junk food until about 2 a.m. That's all changed now, thank goodness.

I feel the same way about my fiance. I am amazed that he is still going along with this whole marriage thing still! Must get the wellbutrin.
