Aleka, your up early I was up then too, but was watching HSN. I should never turn that channel on. They have the most beautiful london blue topaz ring as a TS today.
We didn't win any money, but I was able to talk to an old coworker and ask her if I could use her as a reference and she said sure. I have been out of touch with people for so long, it was nice to see some familiar faces. It was funny, I didn't even recognize some of them until after they spoke, since we are all getting older.

Hi Guys: Had some computer problems and my friend who is visiting here has been on phone for a long time but I am here now. Congrats Nikki I am pulling for you. It is exciting for your DD, I remember when DD bought her's, She refused to pay rent and went from our house to hers. I lent her a lot of stuff and now I have even aq bedroom suite set up plus tv at her house. Have to go will be back soon.

Goodmorning All: A rainy saturday here today. Our friends are still visiting and we are going to a auction later. The paper said that there were royal doulton figurine's and DD collects them. It would be nice to get a couple for her and not have to pay retail. What a time with the computer yesterday. We spoke to 3 tekkies before the problem was solved. The computer is running so much faster now, she had us remove a lot of stuff that wasn't needed which has speeded up the computer a lot. Well have we ever eaten well the last 3 days or so. It is a good thing we got in some walks to wear off some of the excess. Back to the low carbing today. I was not to bad, but a couple of times I strayed, like having a hamburger with bun yesterday. It is hard when you have company as you have a tendancy to show off in the kitchen, at least I do. It has been fun. Well time to shower and get to the auction. You all have a great saturday.

Lynn, I love to go to auctions, but just haven't gone to any for years. It is so exciting when you want something, bid and win it Good luck and hope your DD gets what she likes.
I also like to show off for company. Last summer, when we were camping with some friends, I said I'd make dinner one night. I got this recipe off of All recipes for a broccoli salad and it had green grapes in it. All the reviews said how great it was, so I made it. It was just aweful I learned right then, I better stick with what I know tastes good, rather than try new stuff out on people.
It was really cold here last night, I'm pretty sure most of my plants are now gone. In a way, it will be a relief not to have to water them anymore, but I will miss them.
We have no plans for today. DH is reorganizing the garage again. Once again, I will not be able to find anything out there. It does look better though, so maybe it will be a good thing.
I got the WATP set and decided to start using it today. The one mile walk looks pretty easy. I was surprised, she puts real exerecise in there and calls it walking, pretty sneaky
Well, got to get my shower too. I look like I'm ready for Halloween.

lynn, have a fun time at the auction. I haven't been to an auction in years. The last one I went to was for a church fundraiser. When my Dad passed away I had everyone come to the house after his funeral. I got this make ahead salad recipe from a friend of mine. It was very time consuming to make then you had to refrigerate it overnight. It was delicious. The only person who didn't like it was DH but he doesn't count.

Nikki, DH also out in the garage this morning making some storage space for me so that I can clean off the kitchen counters. Just looking at the mess depresses me. How did you like WATP?

It got chilly here yesterday too. We had a cool front come through and knocked the humidity out of the air. We got to open up the whole house and let some fresh air in for a change. It got chilly so I put a sweatshirt on and DH kept looking at me shaking his head. It's a bit nippy here this morning. DH went outside earlier to pick up our paper and he said you could see your breath.

Gotta go take my shower too.... We will be a clean bunch today, won't we.

Hi Everyone:
Look who the cat dragged in (me) Things are still nuts at work.
There is no sign of anyone else being hired so I am at my witts end. Last
week got into a dispute with another one of my co-workers. This
gentle works next door to me. He has launched a complaint to the same
person I went to. I am hoping gets fired. I know that sounds awful
but if you guys new this woman I know you would agree with me. I have a
gut feeling she won't be working at our place in a few months. Her
behaviour is totallly harrassing and unacceptable in this day and age. This
type of boss is from long ago. A good job for her would be a jail guard. I'm
not kidding either. Everyone who knows her agrees when I say this. She is
one

Aleka, its really cool here today. It feels very much like October. All
around our neighbourhood people are putting out their Halloween Decorations.
I am already buying some of my Christmas decorations. I love the holidays.
