The forums have been up and down today, it seems. Thought I would take a chance on an 'up' and start a daily!

How is everyone doing the 1st full week in 2004?

We are foggy today but more rain is on tap for tomorrow. I hope for a dry weekend since one of the boys (Bry) is going snowboarding (for the 1st time) with a friend on Saturday and I know the parents won't go if the driving weather is bad (thankfully!). They kept trying to go all Christmas vacation but there wasn't a proper break in the weather to chance it.

Court was, ummmmm, interesting yesterday. Most stuff is agreed upon now (custody, child support - he really couldn't fight about this) but now we having to work on the property settlement and I'm sure he is going to argue about values down to the last spoon. *sigh* This too shall pass.

Getting ready to leave in a few for another job interview. I have high hopes for this one as the guy (private CPA) seems very easy going, is looking for someone 30 hours per week on an independent contract basis, and didn't bat an eye (well I don't think he did - we were on the phone! lol) at my hourly rate. So it seems taylor made. But if it doesn't work out thats ok too as I've got other 'pokers in the fire'. I'm not panicing and considering the local McD's job yet!

Have a good one everyone! I was such a good girl by eating a chicken salad yesterday at lunch and chickeny soup for dinner. I have turkey, green beans/bacon, salad (and mashed potatoes for the kiddos - maybe a smidgen for me) planned for dinner. So, see!!!!!!, I can eat LC too!!!!

My day is going better than yesterday (which is why I didn't sign up again yesterday). I have another Girl Scout meeting to go to today so I'll be off and running. For a change I had to come up with the meeting ideas and planning for todays meeting so this should be interesting.

It was great stepping on the scale Tuesday and actually see it had gone down again. This is SOOO cool!!! (I was even looking forward to it not going UP again! so going down made my day!)

Hope you all are having a great day

Just a quick pass through. Suzanne and I couldn't get online this morning - how weird is that? - when the rest of you were on here. Strange day as the Forum was being moved from the old server to the new one and there were problems.

I am also in the middle of having some work done in the bedroom (New closet opening) and that's where the computer lives so was not able to be on here much.

I must admit I've not been exactly OP but that will change. We are freezing up here with a windchill of -47C which is about the same as -47F! Stupid metric! It's a good thing I have a woodstove and two warm cuddly dogs!

Back tomorrow, I hope!

Just when I come back, the whole site goes down. Is that something like people talking about the roof falling in if they go to church? Anyway, I'm glad the site is back up.

I'm still doing good food wise, and exercising every day. I still haven't gotten bacy to my Oxycise.

Went shopping today. A really pricey store in out neighborhood is going out of business and things were at 80% off. I bought 11 items pants, shirts, sweaters, etc and only spent 50.00. Of course I wish I could have bought a smaller size. Maybe soon.

What a rigamarole logging in!
Anyhow, better late than never, so here I am.
Finally broke down and went to the doc this morning. He says I'll survive but I'm sure sick of this sore throat and cough.
Still sticking with the old Atkins Induction. Scale showed 272 yesterday morning. That's the lowest it's been for a long, long time.
Kel, hope the job interview went great. Even if it didn't, I'm sure you'll find something worthy ofyour talents in no time.
Ruth, that's not just cold....that's DAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNN cold! YOIKS! Watch out that metal bra doesn't give you chillblains on the boobs.
Ageoldie, WOW! you did great with the shopping. Wish I'd luck out like that. With my luck, nothing would fit properly or all be the wrong color.
Anybody watch What Not To Wear? These poor people get all their current wardrobe trashed and their taste picked to shreds but then they get to shop for a new $5,000 wardrobe. The just have to stick to the pro's guidelines. I have to admit that most of them do come out looking much better but some of them are very resistant to change. I'd like to think I'd be open to different styles but I KNOW I'd always want baggy tops to hide my flab. LOL
