Thumbs down Moan~Day Chatter - 7/28

Wakey-Wakey --- there's still coffee to go around!

----------------------------------------------------

I can't believe I'm the first one in again this morning! You chickies must sure be enjoying your sleep-ins! lol

Had a fairly decent weekend. Dh's cousin drove in from San Antonio for a short visit on Saturday. We went to the Houston Raceway in Baytown yesterday with Bonnie and Larry and some other friends. Before L'il Larry was killed, he and his dad starting building the car but Larry wouldn't touch it for a long time after his death. Well, he has now finished it and was doing qualifying for his license yesterday! He made it. Another friend of ours has a pro car that his son drives. The "Head Hunter", I believe. I guess he's #1 in his class in Canada and #2 in the US. They were racing yesterday too but more so to work out some kinks in a new something or other on the car. It was pretty neat.

Today brings me back to reality of real life. Grocery store is a must, which means I'll also be discovering what hidden, scary things will be growing in back of the fridge. Probably a bit of laundry in between.

Hope everyone has a chance to stop in and say hello today. There's so many MIA chickies I miss and think of often.

Have a terrific OP day!

J

Been to the market already. Called the ped and littel man is suffering form "I have too much to do to go to the bathoom itis"

So I got fresh supplies from the market to help him change his mind

Sunny beautiful day here. I ran into some friends yesterday when I went to Trader joes, and have to call this am to make some plans for the day with them. Costco on my list and maybe an hour with a book somewhere......preparing to go away and come back to company.

quick one...cause the little guy's bus is late.

L...mine has/had the same thing. too busy and having too much fun it is so much easier to NOT go and just let loose. Now I remind him every so often to go or when I see him getting all squirmie. I made him help me scrub the rug too.

later

Goood morning! Not too often I am here this early. I work late today, so I have time to get a few things done.

Janice, you can come clean out my fridge! Mine is so packed that we can't go to the store and get more, but yet we have nothing to eat! I think I need a seperate fridge just for condiments and cheese!

L, my son had the exact same diagnosis once. We had to schedule potty time every day a couple of times near when he usually had his accidents. He got 15 minutes of potty and a good picture book. Eventually he got out of it. Good luck!

I'm sorta having a hard time getting down my scrambled eggs and breakfast meatballs this morning...is there such a thing as sausage that doesn't have little hard things in them? Gag!

Off to surf, and find a reasonable elliptical trainer. If there is one!

Good Morning everyone!

The sun is shining this morning, and its not too hot, and they arent calling for rain. It may actually be a beautiful day today!!

I think dd and I may just head out and do some flower picking so that we can dry them and make some pretty crafty stuff

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hi there, Low Carbies! Our Fair is over and so is my carb binge! Yes, I really did have fun but now it's back to real life. I go to visit my DD MEW on August 9 and need to get back on track well before then.

It's Gail Day so I can't stay long but thought I'd pop in and say a quick hi and try to catch up on posts!

Hello, hello! It's been a busy Monday, typical around here! Changed dd's daycare, long story, but she loves this one, and even though it's farther away, it's cheaper and we need to pinch pennies right now!

Other than that, it's been too dang hot to move here. Try walking but it feels like breathing in the sauna, steam instead of oxygen! However, I will persevere! Hope you're all having a great day!

just had to chime in with a quick hello-
monday is over, that's the good news.

hey L, my neices pediatrician used to say, "a well-hydrated child is a happy child" knowing they won't take time out for a drink, she really pushed water, and my sis gave little rubbermaid water bottles to my neice whenever she sat still! Fiber, and water...there's a lesson here for all of us!

Hey Peach, thinking of you!

Hi to everyone else, not eating too well, but trying! Wore some pants today that are 6 years old, my friend laughed at me for my"at least I didn't gain" speech, but I am grateful to only be maintaining. Maintaining at a very high weight, I admit, but...I try!

time to get some cleanup done, and get clothes ready for tomorrw.

nite,
dottie

Angry Good MoanDay Evening Everyone

Well, the good news is, I've stayed OP all day. Things didn't go as planned (when do they ever!!) but have not given in to the carb monsters....yet.

As much as I love WallyWord, I hate our WW!!! We live in what has become a very much minority area. I am not a racial person - (here comes the but) I think I did shopping with what I believe was every Northside Houston screaming Hispanic kid under 5 for two hours today! My nerves were definately on edge - then - I think I got the rudist checker who let me know that I could pack my own groceries! I was not stress free by the time I got home! It is now 4 hours since I got home and I'm finally starting to chill a bit.

Well, the grill is now ready for the steaks, so, guess I'd better get moving.

Hope everyone has a great night! Who's making coffee in the morning?

Janice
