Thought I should reintroduce myself; I posted on this board about a year and a half ago, but wasn't really serious about losing weight. Now, 15 pounds heavier, I am. I have about 40-45 pounds to lose, and honestly, when I look in the mirror I am just sick that I let myself go this way. Anyway, I am doing the low carb thing; kind of Atkins, but about 30g carbs instead of 20; will drop to 20 within the next 3 days; hopefully that will prevent some of the headaches and tiredness... today is my first day and I am feeling good, not hungry, and very motivated. Ordered that South Beach Diet book; think it sounds interesting. Haven't been motivated to exercise; thought I'd start next week, after the 'withdrawal' symptoms wear off a bit...
